HomeMy WebLinkAboutMinutes 06/05/2012 (3)• CALL TO ORDER - SPECIAL MEETING: CITY COUNCIL SPECIAL MEETING Port Angeles, Washington June 5, 2012 Mayor Kidd called the special meeting of the Port Angeles City Council to order at 5:30 p.m. ROLL CALL: Members Present: CLOSED SESSION: RETURN TO OPEN SESSION: ADJOURNMENT: • Mayor Kidd, Deputy Mayor Collins, Councilmembers, Bruch, Di Guilio, Downie, Mania [arrived at 5:40 p.m.], and Nelson. Members Absent: None. Staff Present: Interim Manager McKeen, Deputy Clerk Pierce, Attorney Bloor, B. Coons, and M. Puntenney. Based upon input from Attorney Bloor, Mayor Kidd announced the need for a Closed Session under the authority of RCW 42.30.140(4)(b) for the purpose of planning, or adopting, the strategy or position to be taken by the City during the course of collective bargaining, for approximately 20 minutes. The Closed Session convened at 5:34 p.m. The Closed Session concluded at 5:57 p.m. No action was taken. To consider the selection of a site or the acquisition of real estate by lease or purchase when public knowledge regarding such consideration would cause a likelihood of increased price. To consider the minimum price at which real estate will be offered for sale or lease when public knowledge regarding such consideration would cause a likelihood of decreased price.
