C. PUBLIC COMMENT – Vicci Rudin and Betsy Robbins spoke on behalf of the Port Angeles Fine Arts Center Board,
describing upcoming activities and passed out their new brochure to Council and staff. Peter Ripley read aloud a written
statement regarding how to raise funds now to pay for a complete clean -up at the Port Angeles Landfill. D Bellamente spoke on
behalf of the Port Angeles Senior Center and passed out fliers for the upcoming Bunco Tournament to raise funds for the Senior
Games.

Carried 4 -0, with Bruch recusing herself due to her employment with the Lower Elwha Klallam Tribe.

L. COUNCIL REPORTS — Councilmember Downie and Di Guilio spoke regarding their planned attendance at the
Saturday Farmers' Market Council table on April 6, 2013. No other reports were given.

Public hearings are set by the City Council in order to meet legal requirements. In addition, the City Council may set a public
heanng in order to receive public input prior to making decisions, which impact the citizens. Certain matters may be
controversial, and the City Council may choose to seek public opinion through the public hearing process
