AN ORDINANCE amending Section 68 of Ordinance No. 665,
entitled: AN ORDINANCE relating to the use of the public
highways and all other places in the=City of Port Angeles open
to the public for the use of vehicles; providing a penalty for
the violation thereof, and repealing all other ordinances and
parts of ordinances in relation thereto, and declaring an
emergency ", approved January 28th, 1921,
The City Commission of the City of Port Angeles do ordain
as follows;
Section 1. That Section 68 of Ordinance No, 665, entitled
"AN ORDINANCE relating to the use of the public highways and all
other places in the City of Port Angeles open to the,pu'blic for
the use of vehicles; providing a penalty for the violation thereof,
and repealing all other ordinances and parts of ordinances in
relation thereto, and declaring an emergency ", approved January
28th, 1921, is hereby amended to read as follows:
Section 68. Hereafter it shall be unlawful for any person
at any time to park or stand a vehicle
On Front Street, Between Lincoln Street and Oak Street;
On Laurel Street, Between Front Street and First Street;
On Oak Street, Between Front Street and First Street;
On Third Street North, West of the East End of the Bridge;
On any portion of the Spit Road;
Provided, however, that vehicles may stand on the said
portions of said Streets for a period not to exceed one hour.
It shall be lawful to park vehicles on the South side of
First Street, between Lincoln Street and Valley Street, except
that portion thereof immediately in front of the Lincoln Theatre,
United States Post Office, the City Fire Department Building, and
the space reserved for physician's and surgeons cars,

On either side of Front Street, between Oak Street and
Valley Street;
On either side of Cherry Street, between First Street and
the North Terminus of said Cherry Street
On the West side of Lincoln Street, Between tAStreet
and Second Street; and
On the East side of Lincoln Street, between Second Street
and the Sotyth Terminus of said Lincoln Street; and
It shall be unlawful to park vehicles on the opposite sides
of said portions of said Streets; Provided, however, vehicles may

On the West side of Laurel Street, and

between the hours of 6 :30 P. M. and 3 :00 A. M, of the following
day.
PROVIDED FURTHER, it shall be unlawful to stand any vehicle
on any of the said Streets in this paragraph described, for a
period longer than one hour.
Section 2,
DECLARING AN EIkiERGENCY,
This ordinance is declared to be urgent and necessary for
the immediate preservation of the public peace, health and
safety, and shall take effect and be in force from and after its
passage, approval and publication.
