HomeMy WebLinkAbout0704• • ORDINANCE NO. 76 4- AN 01DINANCE Vacating the following streets and parts of streets, alleys-and parts of alleys, in the City of Port 'Angeles,..Clallam County, Washington: That portion of Railroad Avenue lying east of the east line of Francis Street and running between Blocks eight (8) and eight and one -half (8Q), nine (9) and nine and one -half (9-) (lying in front of U. S. Hospital Re- serve, Block thirty -three (33)); ten (10) and ten and one-half (102),t eleven (11) and eleven and one -half (112) and twelve (12) and twelve and one -half (122). Also that-portion of Railroad Avenue lying between Division "A" and Division "B" in front of Suburban Lot one and one-half. (1i) and between Division "A" and Division "B" in front of Suburban Lot one (1). That portion of Water Street extending from a line running-north and south, being the projection northerly of the west line of Lot nine (9), Block two (2) of Cain's Subdivision, easterlyto a line running north and south, being the projection northerly of the east line of Lot nine (9) of Block one hundred sixty -five (1b5) of Frank Chambers Subdivision. That portion of:Columbia Street from a line running north and south, being the projection northerly of the west line of Lot one (1) in Block three (3) of Cain's Subdivision easterly to the west line of a 4.81 acre tract of land in Suburban Lot thirty -eight (38). That portion of Caroline, Street from a line running north and south,' being-the projection northerly 'of the west line of Suburban Lot twenty -seven (27),,thence . easterly to the west line of;a 4:81 acre tract of land in Suburban Lot thirty -eight (38). That upon a. petition duly.signed by more than two- thirds (2/3) of the property abutting on the streets and alley ways hereinafter vacated, and upon which due, legal and timely notice of hearing•was given, and no protests having -2- •;� Y ti y been made to the granting of said petition, the following streets and parts of streets, alleys and parts of alleys, as prayed for in said petition in the City of Port Angeles, be and are hereby vacated: • -"c - -- _That portion of Railroad Avenue lying east of the east line of Francis Street and running between Blocks eight (8) and eight and one -half (8i), nine (9) and . nine and one -half (92) (lying in front of U.
