AN ORDINANCE approving and confirming the assessments and assessment
roll in and for Local Improvement District No. 90, under Ordinance No.

commencing at the man -hole located in Lincoln Street fifteen feet south
of the north margin of Second Street, and thence westerly along Second
, for the #############i construction of a lateral sewer,
t in front of block thirty -one of Norman R. Smith's Subdivision of
the Townsite of Port Angeles, and block thirty -two of the Townsite of
Port Angeles, and terminating at a point approximately twenty -five feet
east of the east margin of Oak Street, in the City of Port Angeles,
approximately a distance of about one thousand and twenty feet, together
with the necessary man - holes, catch basins, flush tanks, openings and
wyes within the boundaries of the district therein described, and all
other work in connection therewith which may be necessary; the sewer pipe
for said sewer to be first class vitrified clay, cement, brick or other
suitable material; all in accordance with maps, plans and specifications
prepared by the City Engineer, filed with the City Clerk, and which have
been heretofore approved and adopted by the City Commission; ordering
the levy and collection of such assessments; creating and establishing
a special fund for said district; and ordering that said assessments be
paid into said special fund.
THE CITY COUHISSION OP THE CITY OP PORT ANGELES DO ORDAIN AB FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the assessments and assessment roll for Local Improve-
ment Distr ct No. 90, created by Ordinance No. 709, approved

approximately twenty -five feet east of the east margin of Oak Street, in

the City of Port Angeles, approximately a distance of about one thousand
and twenty feet, together with all necessary man - holes, catch basins,
flush tanks, openings and *yes within the boundaries of the district ###
therein described „and all other work in connection therewith which may .
necessary,' the sewer pipe for said sewer to be first class vitrified
clay, cement, brick or other suitable material; all in accordance with
m- s, plans and specifications prepared by the City 4ngineer, filed with
Ithe City Clerk, and which have been heretofore approved and adopted by
the City Commission, created a local improvement district therefore and
provided for the payment for said improvement by special assessments upon
the property in said district payable by the mode of "payment by bond& ".;
as said assessment roll now stands, as revised, changed, raised,' lowered
and modified by the said City Commission sitting as a board of equaliza-
tion thereon on the 10th day of tugust, 1922, according to regular notice
thereof, and due and regular continuance and adjournment, and the ######
ordinances of said City, and in accordance with the findings and order of
•said board of equalization in said adjourned meeting, be and the same are
hereby in all respects approved and confirmed in all things.
Section 2. That each lot, tract and parcel of land shown upon said
assessment roll is hereby declared specially benefited by said improvement
in at least the amount charged against the same, and that the assessment
appearing against the same is in proportion to the several assessments
appearing upon said roll, and there is hereby levied and assessed against
each said lot, tract or parcel of land appearing on said roll, the amount
actually on said roll charged and assessed against the same.
Section 3. That there is hereby created and established for said
1cal Improvement District No. 90, a special fund tp be known and desig-
nated as Local Improvement District No. 90, for the uses and purposes
provided by law and the ordinances of said city, and into which special
fund all such assessments shall be paid when collected.
Section 4. Said assessments or any of them may be paid without inter-
est at any time within thirty days feom the date of the first publication
of the City Treasurer's notice to pay the same as required by law to be
given, but unless payment be made within such time said assessments or
any portion thereof, not so paid, will become delinquent; such delinquent
assessments with interest and penalty will be enforced and collected in
the manner provided by law and the ordinances of the city of Port Angeles.
Section 5. That immediately upon the taking effect of this ordinance
id assessment roll shall be turned over to the City Treasurer for the
collection thereof, who will thereupon proceed to collect the same accord,.
to law.
Section 6. This ordinance 'shall take effect and be in full force after
its passage and approval, and from and after five (5) days after its law-
ful publication. '-
