AN ORDINANCE authorizing the leasing of the following des-
cribed portion of Railroad Avenue, to wit:

Laurel Street, thence westerly the distance of one hundred
feet, thence southerly a distance of fifteen feet, thence
easterly a distance of one hundred feet, thence northerly
a distance of fifteen feet to point of beginning, being a
part of Railroad Avenue, abutting on the Harbor Area in
front of Lots one (1) and two (2) in Block one (1), Tide-
lands West of Laurel Street in the City of Port Angeles.
THE CITY COMLISSION OF THr CITY OF PORT ANGELES DO ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
Section I. That pursuant to an application for that pur-
pose filed by People's Wharf Company, a corporation, it being the
owner of all the property abutting upon the said portion of Rail-
road Avenue; and pursuant to notice of intention to lease the said
portion of Railroad Avenue, published according to law, the Uayor
and the City Clerk be and they are hereby authorized and empowered
to execute and deliver on behalf of the City of Port Angeles, a
lease to People's Wharf Company, a corporation, for a period of ten
years from the 1st day of September, 1926, covering the following
described t,ortion of the said Railroad Avenue in the City of Port
Angeles, to wit:

feet, thence southerly a distance of fifteen feet, thence
easterly a distance of one hundred feet, thence northerly
a distance of fifteen feet, to point of beginning, being a
. paxt of Railroad Avenue abutting on the Harbor Area in front
of Lots one (1) and two (2) in Block one (1), Tidelands :lest
of Laurel Street, in the said city,
at the annual rental of one dollar, payable in advance, subject to
the right of the City of Port Angeles at the expiration of five
years from the said 1st day of September, 1926, to re- adjust be-
tween itself and the lessee the annual rental according to tie pro-
visions of Section 9070, Rem. Comp. Stat.; and provided further that
the lessee shall at all times during; the life of said lease maintain
that portion of Railroad Avenue between the tracks of the Chicago,
?.`ilwaukee & St. Paul Railroad and the leased portion.
Section II. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force after its passage and approval, and from and after thirty days
after its lawful publication.
