AN ORDINANCE fixing the time for the giving of notice to
Sbidders and prescribing other regulations respecting the call for
bids on the Elwha River Water Extension Project, authorized by
Ordinance No. 875 and declaring an emergency.
THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PORT ANGELES DO ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That not :less than ten (10) days notice of

r any pant thereof or for furnishing materials or supplies therefor
shall be given by the City Clerk by publication of such call for bids
in the official newspaper of the City of Port Angeles, for
not less than two successive weeks$ LL ll a
Section 2. All bidslin order to be considered by the

Section 3. Plans and specifications covering the work to
be done in connection with the construction of the said Elwha River
Water Project, shall be on file in the office of the City Engineer,
at the time of the giving of said notice for said bids and shall so
remain on file during the time specified in said published call.
Section 4. The City Commission of the City of Port Angeles

may rejectAall bids presented and readvertise a call for bids4in
their discretion.
Section 5. That it is urgent and necessary that the call
for bids for the doing of the work provided under Ordinance No. 875,
and the letting of a contract therefore and the commencement of the
work thereunder, eseebreeizseasg=trza all be done and accomplished at
the earliest possible date .and that by reason of the facts herein
stated this ordinance is declared to be urgent and necessary for the
immediate preservation of the public peace, health and safety of the
inhabitants and pegple of the City of Port Angeles and shall take
effect and be in force imnr;ediate1y upon_ and from. and after its passage,
