AN ORDINANCE approving and confirming the assessments and as-
sessment roll in and for Local Improvement District No. 128, created un-

der Ordinance No. 870, approved May 8, 1929, ordering and providing for
the construction of trunk and lateral sewers in and along the following
described portions of streets in the City of Port Angeles, Washington, to
wit: A trunk sewer beginning at the Port Commission's Bulkhead at the
north end of Tumwater street, running thence south along Tumwater Street
to Fifth Street; thence westerly on Fifth Street to A Street; thence
south along A Street to approximately the center line of Tenth Street,
together with lateral sewers sufficient to serve the following described
lots and blocks in the City of Port Angeles; Lots 11 to 20 inclusive in
Block 98 all of Block 99, Lots 2 to 14 inclusive in Block 100, all of
Blocks 101, 102, 106, 107, 108, 109, 112, 156, 157, 158; Lots 9 to 12 in-
clusive in Block 159; Lots 9 to 12 inclusive in Block 238; all of Blocks
239, 240, 241; Lots 1 to 5 inclusive, and Lots 11 to 20 inclusive in
Block 242; all of Blocks 257, 258, 259, 260; Lots 9 to 12 inclusive in
Block 261; Lots 8 to 10 inclusive in Block 298; all of Blocks 299, 300,
301, 302, 317, 318, 319; Lots 3 to 16 inclusive in Block 320; all of
Blocks 352 and 353, all of said lots and blocks being located in the
original townsite of Port Angeles; together with the manholes, flush
tanks, catch basins, wyes and'other equipment necessary and suitable to
complete the said improvement; all in accordance with improtement resol-
ution No. 128 of the City of Port Angeles, and in accordance with maps,
IIIplans and specifications prepared by the City Engineer and approved and
adopted by the City Commission, ordering the levy and collection of such
assessments; creating and establishing a special fund for said district,
and ordering that said assessments be paid into said special fund.
THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PORT ANGELES DO ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the assessments and assessment roll for local
improvement District No. 128, created by Ordinance No. 870, approved May
8, 1929, which said ordinance ordered and provided for the construction
of trunk and lateral sewers in and along the following described portions
• of streets in the, City of Port Angeles, Washington, to wit: A trunk sew-
er beginning at the.Port Commissionts Bulkhead at the north end of Tum-
water street, running thence south along Tumwater Street to Fifth Street;
thence westerly on Fifth Street to A Street; thence south along A Street
to approximately the center line of Tenth Street, together with lateral
sewers sufficient to serve the following described lots and blocks in the
City of Port Angeles; Lots 11 to 20 inclusive in Block 98; all of Block
99, Lots 2 to 14 inclusive in Block 100, all of Blocks 101, 102, 106, 107,
108, 109, 112, 156, 157, 158; Lots 9 to 12 inclusive in Block 159; Lots
9 to 12 inclusive in Block 238; all of Blocks 239, 240, 241; Lots 1 to 5
inclusive in Block 242; all of Blocks 257, 258, 259, 260; Lots 9 to 12
inclusive in Block 261; Lots 8 to 10 inclusive in Block 298; all of
Blocks 299, 300, 301, 302, 317,' 318, 319; Lots 3 to 16 inclusive in
• Block 320; all of.Blocks 352 and 353, all,of said lots and blocks being
located in the original townsite of Port Angeles; together with the man-
holes, flush tanks, catch basins, wyes and other equipment necessary and
suitable to complete the said improvement, all in'accordance with maps,
plans and specifications prepared'by the City.Engineer and approved and
adopted by the City Commission, in accordance with Local Improvement
Resolution No. 128, and which said ordinance created a local improvement
district and provided for payment for said improvement by special assess-
. ment on the property in said district, payable by the method of "payment
by bonds ", and which said local improvement district was more particular-
ly described thereafter in said ordinance so as to define its bounds; as
said assessment roll now stands, as revised, changed, raised, lowered or
modified by the City Commission sitting as a Board of Equalization there-
on on the day of
, 1929, according to regular no-
tice thereof, and in accordance with the ordinances of this City, and
with the findings and order of the said Board then and there made, be and
the same are hereby in all respects approved and confirmed in all things.
Section 2. That each lot, tract and parcel of land upon said
assessment roll is hereby declared to be specially benefitted by said im-
provement in at least the amount charged against the same, and that the
assessments appearing against the same are in proportion to the several
assessments against each said lot, tract or parcel of land appearing on
said roll, and there is hereby levied and assessed against each said lot,
tract or parcel of land appearing on said roll the amount actually charg-
ed and assessed therein uponAnd against the same.
Section 3. That there is hereby created and established for
said. Local Improvement District ho. 128, a special fund to be known and
designated as Local Improvement District No. 128, for the uses and pur-
poses provided in such cases by law and the ordinances of the City of
Port Angeles.
Section 4. That said assessments, or any of them, may be paid
without interest at any time within thirty days from the date of the first
publication of the City Treasurer's notice to pay the same, as required
by law to be given; and all assessments not paid within said period of
thirty days shall thereafter be paid in ten equal annual installments
with interest thereon at the rate of seven per cent per annum.
Section 5. That immediately upon the taking effect of this or-
dinance, said assessment roll shall be turned over and delivered to the
City Treasurer for the collection thereof, who, shall thereupon proceed
to collect the same according to law.
Section 6. his ordinance shall be in full force and effect
after its passage and approval and from and after five days after its
lawful publication, and the City Clerk is hereby directed to cause the
same to be published.
