ORDINANCE N0. 1617
An ordinance requiring surety bonds for certain employees
of the City of Port Angeles and repealing ordinances in con-
flict therewith.
THE CITY COMMISSION—OF THE—CITY-0F PORT ANGELES-DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The following officers and employees of the
City of Port Angeles shall be required to provide bonds in
the principal amounts herein set forth, conditioned for the
faithful performance of their duties and proper account of all
funds coming into their hands, to wit;
City Attorney $1,000.00
City Clerk 1,000.00
Chief of Police 1,000.00
City Police Judge 1,000.00
City Engineer 1,000.00
Sup't_ofUtilities 1,000.00
City Treasurer 10,000.00
Deputy Treasurers 1,000.00 each
City Garbage Collector 1,000.00
Section 2. The said bonds shall run in favor of the City
of Port Angeles and shall be executed by a fidelity or surety
company, authorized to transact such business within the State
r... of Washington. The form shall be approved by the City Attorney
and be satisfactory to any proper department of the State of
Washington, supervising the same. The premium charge for such
bonds shall be paid by the City.
�• Section 3. Ordinance number 278 and ordinance number 381
of the City of Port `Angeles and any other ordinances or parts
of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect thirty (30) days after its passage and lawful publication.
