ORDINANCE N0. 1199
AN ORDINANCE vacating a portion of the alley extending East -
erly from the East margin of Lincoln Street, a distance of one hundred
fifty (150) feet in Block Two Hundred (200), Townsite of Port Angeles.
WHEREAS, there has been filed a petition praying for the
vacation of a portion of an alley hereinafter described, and it appears
that the owners of more than two - thirds of the property abutting upon
said alley have joined in the petition, and due and legal notice of
the time and place of said hearing upon said petition having been
given. That the City Commission, after hearing the said petition,
having determined that said petition should be granted, now, therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF PORT ANGELES:
Section 1. That the following portion of an alley be and it
is vacated, to wit:
The Northerly Three (3) Feet of the Alley extending
Easterly from the East margin of Lincoln Street, a
distance of One Hundred Fifty (150) feet, in Block
Two Hundred (200) Townsite of Port Angeles.
Section 2. The City of Port Angeles specifically reserves the
right to go in and upon the portions of the alley herein vacated for
the purpose of erecting utility poles, laying sewers, or establishing
any other public utilities which it may determine necessary on said
alley, with the right of ingress and egress for the purpose of con-
structing, maintaining, or removing said facilities.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
thirty (30) days from and after its final passage, approval and lawful
publication.
