AN ORDINANCE VACATING PORTIONS OF VALLEY STREET AND
CHERRY STREET IN THE CITY OF PORT ANGELES, WASHINGTON,
SUCH POhTIONS EXTENDING FROM THE NORTH LINE OF FRONT STREET
TO THE INNER HARBOR LINE EXCEPTING THE PORTIONS THEREOF
COVERED BY A FRANCHISE OF THE
CHICAGO, MILWAUKEE, ST. PAUL & PACIFIC RAILROAD.
WHEREAS, the Port of Port Angeles, a municipal corpora-
tion of the State of Washington, having filed herein its peti-
tion praying for the vacation of certain portions of streets
in the City of Port Angeles, and it appearing that the peti-
tioner is the owner of more than two- thirds of the property
abutting on the parts of the streets sought to be vacated,
that due and legal notice of the time and place of said hear-
ing has been given, and the Mayor and City Commission having
determined that said petition should be granted; now, therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF PORT ANGRT,ES:
SECTION 1. That the following parts of streets des-
cribed as follows, to wit:
That portion of Valley Street extending from the
North line of Front Street to the Inner Harbor
Line, excepting the portion thereof covered by a
franchise of the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul &
Pacific Railroad.
That portion of Cherry Street extending from the
North line of Front Street to the Inner Harbor
Line, excepting that portion thereof covered by
a franchise of the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul
& Pacific Railroad right of way.
be, and the same are hereby, vacated.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force thirty (30) days from and after its final passage,
approval and lawful publication.
