ORDINANCE NO. / a$DO
AN ORDINANCE providing for the creation of a Cemetery Fund, providing;
for the receipts and disbursements of said cemetery Fund and repealing Ordinance
No. 1190 entitled "An Ordinance Relating to the Cemetery Fund; etc.," adopted 1
November 26, 1947.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ANGELES DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That there be and is hereby created in the City Treasury .
a fund to be known as the "Cemetery Fund" into which shall be paid all receipts
of the sale of lots and any other income received from and through the operation
of the cemetery and receipts from taxes levied annually as provided for in the
annual city budget.
Section 2. That there shall be provided in the annual budget of the
city an estimate of receipts and expenses of said cemetery fund sufficient to
cover necessary operation, maintenance and capital improvements or additions
thereto, and that a tax be levied annually for any deficit of receipts to
anticipated expenditures.
Section 3. The cemetery fund hereby created shall be used solely for
the disbursement of all expenditures authorized in such budget for the operation,
maintenance and capital improvements of said cemetery including all costs of
management and labor as contemplated by such annual budget.
Section 4. That Ordinance Number 1190, entitled "An Ordinance Re-
lating to the Cemetery Fund; etc." be and is hereby repealed.
Section 5. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect
after adoption by the Council and approval of the Mayor and five days have
lapsed after the final publication hereof as required by law.
PASSE) by the Council of the City of Port Angeles, Washington, and
approved by its Mayor this 2 'day of April, 1953.
