HomeMy WebLinkAbout1326• ORDINANCE NO. /0,26 An Ordinance amending Section Nine (9) of Ordinance No. 500, passed by the City Council on the 25th day of May, 1915, and establishing the grade of Eighth Street from the east line of Chambers Street to the west line of Jones Street, all in the City of Port Angeles. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ANGELES DOES ORDAIN las follows: Section 1. That Section Nine (9) of Ordinance No. 500 be amended to read as follows: I! That the grade of Eighth Street from Francis Street to Chambers Street be established as follows: At the northwest and northeast corners of Eighth and Francis Streets the grade is 171.80 feet above datum and at the southeast and south- west corners of said streets the grade is 172.80 feet above datum; at the northwest and northeast corners of Eighth and Race Streets the grade is 175.0 feet above datum and at the southeast and southwest corners of said streets the grade is 176.0 feet above datum; at the northwest corner of Eighth and Washington Streets the grade is 189.0 feet above datum, at the northeast and southwest corners of said streets the grade is 190.0 feet above datum, and at the southeast corner of said streets the grade is 191.0 feet above datum; at the northwest corner of Eighth and Chambers Streets the grade is 208.0 feet above datum, at the north- east corner of said streets the grade is 209.3 feet above datum, at the southwest corner of said streets the grade is 209.0 feet above datum, and at the southeast corner of said streets the grade is 213.0 feet above city datum. Section 2. That the grade of Eighth Street from the west line of Chambers Street to the west line of Jones Street shall be fifteen per cent. (15 %), and the grade at the northwest corner of Jones and Eighth Streets is 276.8 feet and at the southwest corner of Jones and Eighth Streets the grade is 280.5 feet above city datum. Section 3.
