WHEREAS the City Council of the City of Port Angeles by Resolution No. 6 -76 proposed to annex the hereinafter described real property to the City of Port Angeles; and WHEREAS said resolution provided for a public hearing thereon at 8:00 o'clock P.M. on Tuesday, July 6, 1976, in the Council Chambers of the City of Port Angeles before the City Council and proper notice of said hearing has been given as required by law and said public hearing has been held; and WHEREAS no objections were made to said annexation at said public hearing and the Council of the City of Port Angeles believe that it is in the best interests of the residents and property owners in said area and of the City of Port Angeles that it be annexed to the City of Port Angeles; NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Port Angeles does ordain as follows: The following described real property: Block 9 of Green's Belle View Addition to Port Angeles together with adjacent streets and alleys as platted excepting a 72' X 20' strip in the northwest corner thereof previously annexed by the City. which shall bear the outstanding indebtedness of the City con- tracted prior to or existing at the date of this Ordinance, and which is zoned "Residential single family'(RS7) is hereby annexed s to the City of Port Angeles; provided that the effective date of this Ordinance and the annexation that it provides shall be August 25, 1976. Section 2. This annexation ordinance shall be subject to referendum for forty -five days after the passage thereof as provided in the Revised Code of Washington, Section 35A.14.299. PASSED by the City Council of the City of Port Angeles and approved by its Mayor at a regular meeting of the Council held on the (0 day of July, 1976.
