ORDINANCE NO. 2g-741'
AN ORDINANCE of the City of Port Angeles
reclassifying approximately 3.2 acres
in White Creek Ravine between First and
Front Streets from PBP (Public Buildings
and Parks) to CAD (Commercial Arterial
District ).
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Port
Angeles has held a public hearing and recorded its recommendation
to the City Council in the Planning Commission minutes of
November 9, 1983; and
WHEREAS, the requirements of the State Environmental
Policy Act have been met; and
WHEREAS, the City Council, after a public hearing,
finds that said rezone would be in the best interests of the City
and of its citizens and in keeping with the Comprehensive Plan;
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT
ANGELES as follows:
Section 1. The Official Zoning Map, Ordinance No.
2158, and Ordinance No. 1709 are hereby amended to change the
zoning of the following described property from PBP, Public
Buildings and Parks, to CAD, Commercial Arterial District:
Lots 1 - 3 and 16 - 18, Block 132; Lots 4 - 15, Block
133; all in Thomas W. Carter's Subdivision of Suburban
Lots Nos. 11 and 16 of the Townsite of Port Angeles;
together with Lots 11 - 15, Block 2, of Virginia Park
and Terrace, recorded in Vol. 2 of Plats, page 39,
records of Clallam County.
Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to file a
certified copy of this Ordinance with the Clallam County Auditor.

at a regular meeting of said Council held on the 6th day of
December, 1983.
