AN ORDINANCE of the City of Port Angeles
amending Ordinance No. 2573 by clarifying
the legal description of certain rezoned
property.
WHEREAS, the legal description of the property
rezoned in Ordinance No. 2573 did not specify the location of the
harbor line that forms the north boundary of the rezoned area;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PORT ANGELES as follows:
Section 1. Ordinance No. 2573 is hereby amended to
read as follows:
Section 1. The Official Zoning Map, Ordinance No.
2158, and Ordinance No. 1709 are hereby amended to change the
zoning of the following described property from M -2, Heavy
Industrial, to CBD, Central Business District:
All of Lots 1 through 10 of Block 2 of the
Tidelands West of Laurel Street of the City
of Port Angeles, including the north one -
half of the Front Street right -of -way, and
the west one -half of the Oak Street right -
of -way abutting;
ALSO
All that property lying north of the north
margin of said Block 2 to the Outer Harbor
Line, as established by the Department of
Public Lands on May 1, 1935, maps of the
Port Angeles Tidelands on file in the Office
of the City Engineer, 321 East Fifth Street,
Port Angeles, Washington, and including the
west one -half of the Oak Street right -of -way
abutting;
Excluding any portions already lying within
the Central Business District;
All in the City of Port Angeles, Clallam
County, Washington.
Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to file
a certified copy of this Ordinance with the Clallam County
Auditor.

Section 2. This Ordinance shall take effect five days
after date of publication.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Port Angeles
at a regular meeting of said Council held on the 1st day of May,
1990.
