AN ORDINANCE of the City of Port Angeles
amending Section 1 of Ordinance No.
2590, to correct the legal description
of rezoned property.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ANGELES DOES
ORDAIN as follows:
Section 1. Section 1 of Ordinance No. 2590 is hereby
amended to read as follows:
Section 1. The Official Zoning Map and Ordinance No.
1709 are hereby amended to change the zoning of the following
described property from RS -9, Single - Family Residential, to LI,
Light Industrial:
Beginning at the quarter corner of Sections
8 and 9, Township 30 North, Range 6 W.W.M.,
thence north 2 °30'4" East along the West
boundary of Section 9, a distance of 657.41
feet to its intersection with the southerly
line of the Townsite of Port Angeles; thence
South 73 °28'28" East along said southerly
Townsite line a distance of 661.55 feet to
its intersection with the west right -of -way
of Newell /Ananda Road, said intersection
also being the true point of beginning;
thence continuing south 73 °28'28" East along
said line a distance of 1,002.85 feet, to an
intersection with the east right -of -way line
of the Tumwater Truck Route; thence south-
westerly along said right -of -way line 451.84
feet to the intersection with the easterly
right -of -way line of platted Croft Street,
Cooper's Addition to the Townsite of Port
Angeles, per map recorded in Volume 2 of
Plats, page 8, records of Clallam County,
Washington; thence southerly along said
easterly right -of -way line a distance of
498.93 feet to an intersection with the
north right -of -way of SR 101; thence
westerly along said right -of -way to its
intersection with the west right -of -way of
the Tumwater Truck Route; thence northeast-
erly along said right -of -way to its inter-
section with the west right -of -way of
Newell /Ananda Road; thence northerly along
said west right -of -way to the southeasterly
corner of Lot 4 of Short Plat 89 -9 -2, per
map 89 -9 -2 recorded in Volume 12 of Short
Plats, Page 30, records of Clallam County
Washington; thence westerly along the
southerly boundary of said Lot 4 a distance
of 300.13 feet to the southwesterly corner
thereof; thence northerly along the westerly

boundary of said Lot 4 a distance of 237.95
feet to the northwesterly corner thereof;
thence northerly along the easterly boundary
of Lot 1 of said Short Plat 89 -9 -2 a
distance of 9.99 feet to the northeasterly
corner of said Lot 1; thence northerly a
distance of 128.05 feet to the Northeasterly
corner of Lot 1 of Short Plat 82 -12 -3,
recorded in Volume 12 of Short Plats, page
52, records of Clallam County, Washington;
thence easterly a distance of 300.13 feet
along the northerly boundary of Tax Lot No.
5856, recorded in Volume 438, page 152 of
records of Clallam County, Washington, to
its intersection with the west right -of -way
of Newell /Ananda Road; thence northerly
along said west right-of-way a distance of
320.13 feet to the point of beginning. (A
vicinity map outlining the boundaries of the
property to be rezoned is attached as
Exhibit "A ".)
Section 2. This Ordinance shall take effect five days
after its publication.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Port Angeles
at a regular meeting of said Council held on the 3rd day of July,
1990.
