AN ORDINANCE of the City of Port Angeles
rezoning property located on the north side
of Columbia Street, west of Chambers Street,
from RS -7, Single- Family Residential, to
PBP, Public Building and Parks.
WHEREAS the Planning Commission of the City of Port
ngeles has held a public hearing and recorded its recommendation
o the City Council in the Planning Commission Minutes of January
, 1992; and
WHEREAS, the requirements of the State Environmental
olicy Act (Chapter 43.21C RCW) have been met; and
WHEREAS, the City Council, after a public hearing,
inds that said rezone would be consistent with the changes in
ircumstances since the area was originally zoned; would be in
he best interest of the City and of its citizens; and would be
onsistent with the Comprehensive Plan; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT
NGELES as follows:
Section 1. The Official Zoning Map (Ordinance No.
158) and Ordinance No. 1709, as amended, are hereby amended to
hange the zoning of the following described property from RS -7,
ingle - Family Residential, to PBP, Public Buildings and Parks:
Lots 13 through 17, Block 3, Puget Sound
Cooperative Colony's Addition to the
Townsite of Port Angeles, Washington.
Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to attach
copy of this Ordinance to the Official Zoning Map and to file
certified copy of this Ordinance with the Clallam County
uditor.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall become effective five
days after the date of publication.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Port Angeles
at a regular meeting of said Council held on the 21st day of
January, 1992.

side of Columbia Street, west of Chambers Street, from RS -7, Single - Family
Residential, to PBP, Public Building and Parks. The subject property is legally
described as Lots 13 through 17, Block 3, Puget Sound Cooperative Colony's
Addition to the Townsite of Port Angeles, Washington.
The full text of the Ordinance is available at City Hall in the City Clerk's office or will be
mailed upon request. Office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The Ordinance will take effect five (5) days after publication of this summary.
