AN ORDINANCE of the City of Port Angeles
clarifying and amending §2 of Ordinance
No. 1588 as most recently amended by §2
of Ordinance No. 2228 and §14.40.020 of
the Port Angeles Municipal Code.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ANGELES DOES
ORDAIN as follows:
Section 1. Section 2 of Ordinance No. 1588, as most
recently amended by Section 2 of Ordinance No. 2228, and Section
14.40.020 of the Port Angeles Municipal Code are amended to read
as follows:
14.40.020 Parking Space Requirements - Generally. For
all land uses there shall be established and maintained permanent
off - street parking spaces, either on the zoning lot of the use,
or within one hundred feet of the property boundaries (excluding
public streets and alleys) of the zoning lot. The required
number of parking spaces shall be determined as follows:
A. The number of required spaces shall be determined
by reference to Sections 14.40.030 through 14.40.080.
B. If applicable, Sections 14.40.110 through
14.40.140 shall then be used to determine whether the number of
spaces required by subsection A of this Section is modified.
Section 2. This Ordinance shall take effect five (5)
days after date of publication.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Port Angeles
at a regular meeting of said Council held on the 4th day of
August , 1992.

Ordinance No. 2701
This Ordinance of the City of Port Angeles rezones property legally described as Lots
1 -5, Block 4, and Lot 18 and the vacated portion of Chambers Street adjacent to Lot 18,
Block 3, Puget Sound Cooperative Colony's Addition to the Townsite of Port Angeles,
Clallam County, Washington, from RS -7, Single - Family Residential, to PBP, Public
Building and Parks. This Ordinance also rezones property legally described as that
portion of Block 2 lying south of the PBP boundary line at the top of the bluff, including
those portions of vacated Chambers Street abutting Lots 9 and 10, all of Blocks 5 and
11, and Lots 1 -3, Block 12, Puget Sound Cooperative Colony's Addition to the Townsite
of Port Angeles; and Lots 4 -15, Block 1, and Lots 4 -9, Block 4, Hart and Cooke's
Subdivision to the Townsite of Port Angeles, Clallam County, Washington, from RS -7,
Single - Family Residential, to OC, Office Commercial.
Ordinance No. 2702
This Ordinance of the City of Port Angeles amends Section 17.20.160 of the Port Angeles
Municipal Code to add as a conditional use business parking lots not associated with a permitted
use on the same site, and amends Section 17.40.040 of the Port Angeles Municipal Code to add
as a permitted use single- family residences which meet the requirements of the RS -7 District.
Ordinance No. 2703
This Ordinance of the City of Port Angeles amends Section 2 of Ordinance No. 1588 and
Section 14.40.020 of the Port Angeles Municipal Code by clarifying that off - street parking
spaces required under the City's parking ordinance must be within one hundred feet of the
property boundaries of the use excluding public streets and alleys..
The full texts of the Ordinances are available at City Hall in the City Clerk's office or will be mailed
upon request. Office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
These Ordinances shall take effect five days after date of publication of these summaries.
