AN ORDINANCE of the City of Port Angeles,
Washington, repealing railroad franchises
and Ordinances 457, 459, 462, 475, 556,
725, and 924.
WHEREAS, franchises granted by the City of Port Angeles
to railroad companies for the use of City rights -of -way are no
longer being used and the railroad tracks have been removed; and
WHEREAS, due to the abandonment of the railroad
franchises and the forfeiture of the rights and privileges
therein granted, it is necessary and appropriate to repeal the
ordinances granting the franchises;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT
ANGELES DOES HEREBY ORDAIN as follows:
Section 1. Ordinances 457, 459, 462, 475, 556, 725 and
924 are hereby repealed.
Section 2 - Effective Date. This Ordinance shall take
effect five (5) days after the date of publication by summary.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Port Angeles
at a regular meeting of said Council held on the 20th day of
April

Ordinance No. 2760
This Ordinance of the City of Port Angeles repeals railroad franchises granted to
railroad companies for the use of City rights -of -way, and repeals Ordinances 457,
459, 462, 475, 556, 725, and 924.
The full text of this Ordinance is available at City Hall in the City Clerk's office or will be
mailed upon request. Office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
This Ordinance shall take effect five days after the date of publication of this summary.
