AN ORDINANCE of the City of Port Angeles
rezoning property located at 229 East First
Street, Port Angeles, Washington.
WHEREAS, the Port Angeles City Planning Commission has
held a public hearing and recorded its recommendation to the City
Council in the Planning Commission minutes of May 12, 1993; and
WHEREAS, the requirements of the State Environmental
Policy Act (Chapter 43.21C RCW) have been met; and
WHEREAS, the City Council, after a public hearing,
finds that said rezone would be consistent with the changes in
circumstances since the area was originally zoned; would be in
the best interest of the City and of its citizens; and would be
consistent with the Comprehensive Plan; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT
ANGELES as follows:
Section 1. The Official Zoning Map (Ordinance No.
2158) and Ordinance No. 1709, as amended, are hereby amended to
change the zoning of the following described property from ACD,
Arterial Commercial District, and CBD, Central Business District,
to RHD, Residential High Density:
Lot "A" of Short Plat recorded in Volume 19 of Short
Plats, Page 15, Clallam County Records, Clallam County
Washington (SHP 89(01)01); Together with the
southeasterly 15.00 feet of Lot 15, Block 17,
Thompson's and Goodwin's Subdivision recorded in Volume
1 of Plats, Page 93, Clallam County Records, Clallam
County, Washington.
Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to attach
a copy of this Ordinance to the Official Zoning Map and to file
a certified copy of this Ordinance with the Clallam County
Auditor.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall become effective five
(5) days after the date of publication.

Ordinance No. 2764
This Ordinance of the City of Port Angeles establishes bicycle helmet regulations
and implementation programs and creates Chapter 10.06 of the Port Angeles
Municipal Code.
The full texts of the Ordinances are available at City Hall in the City Clerk's office or will be
mailed upon request. Office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
These Ordinances shall take effect five days after the date of publication of these summaries.
