AN ORDINANCE of the City of
Port Angeles amending Ordinance 1709,
as amended, and Section 17.70.040
of the Port Angeles Municipal Code
relating to exterior setbacks in Planned
Residential Developments.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Port Angeles
has held a public hearing and reviewed the recommendation of the
Planning Commission on a proposed amendment to the PRD, Planned
Residential Developments (PRD) zoning regulations as set forth in
the Planning Commission minutes of June 8, 1994, and;
WHEREAS, the requirements of the State Environmental
Policy Act (Chapter 43.21C RCW) have been met;
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed
amendment will further the intent of the PRD Chapter of the
Zoning Code, which intent is to permit alternative zoning
regulations and encourage design flexibility that will result in
a residential environment of higher quality than traditional lot -
by -lot development;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT
ANGELES DOES ORDAIN as follows:
Section 1. Ordinance No. 1709, as amended, and Chapter
17.70 of the Port Angeles Municipal Code are hereby amended by
amending PAMC 17.70.040 to read as follows:
17.70.040 Permitted Modifications of Land Use
Regulations. The approval of a Planned Residential Development
may include modifications in the requirements and standards of
the underlying land use regulations of the district in which the
project is located, subject to the limitations of this Chapter,
except that no approval shall include a modification, variance or
waiver of the setback areas required by the underlying zoning
districts along the exterior property lines of the PRD or of the
requirements of the Shoreline Master Program except as provided
in Chapter 173 -14 WAC. For the purpose of this section, setbacks
along exterior property lines shall be 25 fcct based on the final
lot configuration after subdivision of the property.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Port Angeles
at a regular meeting of said Council held on the 5th
day of July, 1994.

Residential Developments. This Ordinance amends Ordinance 1709, as amended, and Section 17.70.040
of the Port Angeles Municipal Code.
Ordinance No. 2824
This Ordinance of the City of Port Angeles revises an annexation condition for property near Golf Course
Road. This Ordinance amends Section 4 of Ordinance 2774.
Ordinance No. 2825
This Ordinance of the City of Port Angeles pertains to the revision of penalties on delinquent LID
assessments by establishing a general penalty rate for all LID assessments at the rate of 12% per annum.
This Ordinance repeals Ordinance No. 1773.
Ordinance No. 2826
This Ordinance of the City of Port Angeles revises the City Pier and Waterfront Park regulations by
requiring all operators of vessels mooring overnight to self register and pay a moorage fee of $8.00 per
night. This Ordinance amends Ordinance No. 2209, as amended, and Chapter 12.12 of the Port Angeles
Municipal Code.

hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
These Ordinances shall take effect five days after the date of publication of these summaries.
