AN ORDINANCE of the City of Port Angeles,
Washington, revising the term of office for the
high school member on the Law Enforcement
Advisory Board and amending Ordinance 2724 and
Chapter 2.26 of the Port Angeles Municipal Code.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ANGELES DOES HEREBY
ORDAIN as follows:
Section 1. Ordinance 2724 and Chapter 2.26 of the Port
Angeles Municipal Code are hereby amended by amending PAMC 2.26.030
to read as follows:
2.26.030 Appointment - Terms.
A. All Board members shall be appointed by the City
Council.
B. Initial appointments to the Board shall be made for
the following terms:
1. Two (2) members of the Board shall be appointed
for one (1) year terms.
2. Two (2) members of the Board shall be appointed
for two (2) year terms.
3. Two (2) members of the Board shall be appointed
for three (3) year terms.
4. Three (3) members shall be appointed by the City
Council.
C. All subsequent appointments, except for vacancies,
shall be for four (4) yeare termsT_L provided that members shall
remain in office until their successors are appointed and
confirmed; provided further that the high school member shall serve
a one (1) year term.
D. Vacancies occurring otherwise than through the
expiration of terms shall be filled for the remainder of the term
of the member being replaced. Vacancies shall be filled in the
same manner as original appointments.
E. Members may be removed at will at any time prior to
the end of the term by the City Council. In addition, members who
fail to attend three (3) consecutive regular meetings may be
considered to have vacated their positions and may be replaced, as
provided for herein. Any member who ceases to meet the criteria
for his or her selection as provided in PAMC 2.26.020 shall be
deemed to have forfeited his or her position.
Section 2 - Effective Date. This Ordinance shall take
effect five days after the date of publication.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Port Angeles at
a regular meeting of said Council held on the 21st day of May,
1996.

This Ordinance of the City of Port Angeles revises the term of office to one year
for the high school member on the Law Enforcement Advisory Board and amends

Ordinance No. 2916
This Ordinance of the City of Port Angeles revises the Waterfront Park
regulations to allow for concessions and amends Ordinance 2169, as amended, and
Chapter 12.12 of the Port Angeles Municipal Code.
The full texts of the Ordinances are available at City Hall in the City Clerk's office or will be
mailed upon request. Office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
These Ordinances shall take effect five days after the date of publication of these summaries.
