AN ORDINANCE of the City of Port Angeles
rezoning property located at 1024 and 1032
Columbia Street.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Port Angeles has held a
public meeting and recorded its recommendation to the City Council in the Planning
Commission minutes of September 25, 1996; and
WHEREAS, the requirements of the State Environmental Policy Act (Chapter
43.21C RCW) have been met; and
WHEREAS, the City Council, after a public hearing, finds that said rezone
would be in the best interest of the City and its citizens, and would be consistent with the
Comprehensive Plan;
NOW THEREFORE THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT
ANGELES DOES HEREBY ORDAIN as follows:
Section 1 The Official Zoning Map (Ordinance No. 2801) and Ordinance No.
1709, as amended, are hereby amended to change the zoning of the following described
property from PBP, Public Buildings and Parks, to CO, Commercial Office:
Lots 1 - 4, Block 4, Puget Sound Cooperative Colony Subdivision
to Port Angeles, Clallam County, Washington.
Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to attach a copy of this Ordinance
to the Official Zoning Map and to file a certified copy with the Clallam County Auditor.
Section 3 This Ordinance shall become effective five (5) days after the date
of publication.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Port Angeles at a regular meeting
of said Council held on the 15th day of October, 19,

This Ordinance of the City of Port Angeles rezones property located at 1024 and
1032 Columbia Street, which is legally described as Lots 1 - 4, Block 4, Puget
Sound Cooperative Colony Subdivision to Port Angeles, from PBP, Public
Buildings and Parks, to CO, Commercial Office.
The full text of the Ordinance is available, for a fee, at City Hall in the City Clerk's office or
will be mailed upon request. Office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00
p.m.
This Ordinance shall take effect five days after the date of publication of this summary.
