ORDINANCE NO . 3225
AN ORDINANCE of the City of Port Angeles amending the 2005
budget, adopting the 2006 budget, and providing for a cost
of living increase for certain city employees.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ANGELES DO ORDAIN
Section 1. The annual budget of the City of Port Angeles for the year 2006,
as finally amended, fixed, and determined by the City Council after public hearings held on
Tuesday, November 1, 2005, Tuesday, November 15, 2005, and Tuesday, December 6,
2005, notice of said hearings having been given and published in the manner provided by
law, is hereby adopted, approved and confirmed.
Section 2. The 2005 budget appropriations as set forth in Ordinance 3178
are hereby amended, and the 2005 budget appropriations are hereby adopted, in accordance
with the following summary of the totals of appropriations for each separate fund and the
aggregate total for all such funds combined:

Section 3. The City Clerk is hereby directed to keep on file the budget referred to in
Sections 1 and 2 above and to transmit a complete copy of the final budget to the Division
of Municipal Corporations in the Office of the State Auditor and to the Association of
Washington Cities.
Section 4. In accordance with the budget referred to in Sections 1 and 2 above,
effective January 1, 2006, through December 31, 2006, salaries and wages for
Administrative /Management and other non - represented employees shall be increased by
2.7 %.
The above salaries and wages shall be paid in bi- weekly installments per accounting
procedures established by the City of Port Angeles, and shall be paid within five (5)
working days after the end of the payroll period, or as soon thereafter, per procedures
established by the City of Port Angeles.
Section 5. The City Clerk and the codifiers of this ordinance are authorized to make
necessary corrections to this ordinance including, but limited to, the correction of the
scrivener's /clerical errors, references, ordinance numbering, section/subsection numbers and
any references thereto.
Section 6 . This Ordinance shall take effect five days after publication.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Port Angeles at a regular meeting of
said Council held on the 6th day of December, 2005.

Ordinance No. 3225
This Ordinance of the City of Port Angeles, Washington, amends the 2005 budget, adopts
the 2006 budget, and provides for a cost of living increase for certain City employees.
Ordinance No. 3226
This Ordinance of the City of Port Angeles, Washington, revises water service rates and
amends Chapters 3.70, 13.24, 13.32, 13.44, and 13.69 of the Port Angeles Municipal Code.
This Ordinance shall take effect January 1, 2006.
Ordinance No. 3227
This Ordinance of the City of Port Angeles, Washington, revises wastewater service rates
and amends Chapters 13.65 and 13.69 of the Port Angeles Municipal Code. This Ordinance
shall take effect January 1, 2006.
The full texts of the Ordinances are available at City Hall in the City Clerk's office or will be mailed
upon request. Office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Unless
otherwise stated above, these Ordinances shall take effect five days following the date ofpublication
by summary.
