ORDINANCE NO. 3351
AN ORDINANCE of the City of Port Angeles, Washington, revising Chapter
13.73 of the Port Angeles Municipal Code relating to Medic 1 Charges.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PORT ANGELES DO HEREBY ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Ordinance 3215, as amended, and Chapter 13.73 of the Port Angeles
Municipal Code are hereby amended by amending subparts 13.73.400 and Exhibit A PAMC to
read as follows:
13.73.400. Charges Established. In accordance with the rate study presented to the City
Council, the base rates and fees for the Utility shall be as follows:
User Classification Rate
Residential $7 52.12 per year, per unit
Adult family homes* $639 700 667.80 per year, per classification
Assisted living facilities* $10,839.00 11,489.34 per year, per classification
24 -Hour nursing facilities* $7,3300 7,771.92 per year, per classification
Group homes* $300 1,841.22 per year, per classification
Jail facilities* $1,192.00 1,263.52 per year, per classification
Schools* $2,454.00 2,601.24 per year, per classification
Commercial /Business $50.70 53.74 per year, per unit
City public areas $15,402.00 16,326.12 per year, per classification
* Rates for individual facilities vary based upon their percentage of use within that classification.
For individual facility rates, see Exhibit A.
Section 2 - Severability. If any provisions of this Ordinance or its applications to any
person or circumstances is held to be invalid, the remainder of the Ordinance or application of
the provisions of the Ordinance to other persons or circumstances is not affected.

Section 3 - Corrections. The City Clerk and the codifiers of this ordinance are
authorized to make necessary corrections to this ordinance including, but not limited to, the
correction of the scrivener's /clerical errors, references, ordinance numbering, section/subsection
numbers and any references thereto.
Section 4 - Effective Date. This ordinance, being an exercise of a power specifically
delegated to the City legislative body, is not subject to referendum. This ordinance shall take
effect January 1, 2009.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Port Angeles at a regular meeting of said
Council held on the 18th day of November, 2008.

Summaries of Ordinances Adopted by the
Port Angeles City Council
on November 18, 2008
Ordinance No. 3349
This Ordinance of the City of Port Angeles, Washington, levies regular ad valorem property
taxes for the fiscal year 2009, and directs the City Clerk to certify said amount to the Board of
Clallam County Commissioners. This Ordinance shall take effect five days following the date of
its publication by summary.
Ordinance No. 3350
This Ordinance of the City of Port Angeles, Washington, amends Section 3.70.020, 030, 040,
050, 055, 060, 065, 070, 080, 110, and 120 of Chapter 3.70 of the Port Angeles Municipal Code
relating to Fees. This Ordinance shall take effect January 1, 2009.

Angeles Municipal Code relating to Medic I Charges. This Ordinance shall take effect January
1, 2009.
