Proceedings of the City Commission of the City of Port Angeles, Washington

The Commission met in regular session at 10 a.m.and ~as called to order by Mayor
Davis. Roll call showed the following officers present. Mayor Davis,Commissioners Lutz
and Masters,Attorney Plummer and Clerk Hawkins.
The minutes of the previous session were read and approved.

Under the head of applications for licenses the follo~ing were granted,-

Resturant in the Big Place ,at 113 E Front street
Police Judge Thos Geisness reported 30 cases tried fnd (i219.50 received in fines
for the month of December,1933. Report ordered filed.
Under the head of New Business,-
It was moved by Commissioner Masters that the Liability Polic~.covering accidents
on the City streets for the year 1934 be placed with the Pacifice Indemnity Cowpany,
J.M.Davis local agent. Seconded by Commissioner Lutz. On roll call Commissioners Masters
and Lutz voted aye,Mayor Davis not voting. The Mayor declared the motuin carried.
It was moved by Mayor Davis the Florence Friedline be granted permission to move
her business and her beer and wine licenses ~rom 113 E Front street to lllt E Front
Street. The resturant license issued to her being also included in this order. .
Motion seconded by Commissioner Masters. On roll oall all members voted aye. The Mayor
declared the motion carried.
Lloyd Freeman and a committee from the Chamber of Commerce appeared before the
Commission and asked- cooperation in obtaining an Avation Field to be located west of
Lincoln Park. The particular property desired being allcofSuburban Blocks Numbers 145
to 150 inclusive, Townsite of Port Angeles.
The annual report of the Chief of the Fire Department was read and ordered filed.
Under the head of Introduction of Ordinances the following ordinances ~ere introduced,
read in full and placed on their Fisrt and Second readings,- , I

employees of the City of Port Angeles.TIashington.
An Ordinance Relating to the use of the public streets of the City of Port Angeles'
to the parking of vehicles thereon; Providing parking regulations for certain types of
vehicles; Providing a penalty for the violation of said ordinance,and declaring an
emergecy.
The Commission examined and allowed the following claims and ordered warrants drawn
for same,-
