'II The following resolution providing for the organization of the Commission was then introduced: RESOLUTION !I VlHEREAS, Fred W. Epperson, Ernest C. Steele and William S. Johnson were elected at the GGnerall,:unicipal I Ele, ction held in the City of Port Angeles on J:ovember 5, 1945, to serve as Icayor, Commissioner of Finance i and Commissioner of Streets and Public Improvement, respectively, of the City of Port Angeles for the en- sUlng term of three j-ears; and ~ . Epperson, as l:ayor, be and he is hereb.f assigned to the supervision of the Department of Public Safety as provided bo' statute and ordiMnces of the City of Port An;;eles, with duties and supervision over the follm7ing departments: 1. Police Department 2. rire Department 3. Health Depa rtment 4. Library 5. Planning Commission 6. Civil Service Co~~ssion 7. Sanitary Department 2. Ernest C. Steele, as Conunissioner of Finance and Accounting, is hereby assigned under the statuto and ordinances of the City of Port Angeles, the duties and supervision of the following departments: 1. Johnson, as Commissiolls r of Streets and Public Improvement, is hereby , assigned the duties and supervision of the following departments: I 1. Street and ~ewer Department ~.
