The COIlll'..ission ",et in regular session at 10 A .11. and was oalle d to order by Mayor Beetle. Roll call
showed the following officers present: Mayor Beetle, Commissioners Beam and Lind, Attorney Cond.ff and
Clerk P",wkins.
The minutes cf the previous sessicn were read and approved.
Under the head of Applications for fuilding Permits and Lioenses the following were granted:
Rennie Anderson, Residence, Part of Lots 13 & 14, Block 91, Townsite
Harry Cohen, Remodel Building, Ell Lot 18, Block 14, Townsite
Eli Olsen, Build Woodshed, Lot 16, Block 274, Tovmsite
J. O. McDonald, Remodel fuilding, Lots 3 & 4, Block 384, Townsite
Ray Dalton, Peddler's License, (January 15 & 14, 1942)

Under the head of Reading and Passage of Ordinances the follmving ordinance passed its third reading and
was fwally adopted.
AN ORDINANCE setting forth an emergency affecting the public health and s~fety; reqUJ.nng expenditures
unforeseen; providing for the issuance of emergency warrants; and declaring an emergency making the
ordinance immediately effective.
It was moved b",t Uayor Beetle that the foregoing ordinance be placed on its final reading and adopted. I
Seconded by Oo~issioner Beam. On roll call all members voted aye. The Mayor declared the motion carried.
Under the head of Introduction of Resolutions the following resolutions were introduced:
RESOLUTIGN
WHEREAS, The City of Port ~ngeles is the owner of the following described real property, having acquired
the same by Treasurer's Deed, dated June 2, 1959, under and by virtue of the authority of Section 9595
of Remington's Revised statutes, Chapter 145 of the Lawa of 1939, page 365, to-wit:
Lots Nine (9) and Ten (10), Block Two Hundred Fort,y-one (241) of the Townsite of
Port Angeles, Clallam County, Washington, and
~~~~~AS, Lewie B. Filion has offered to purchase the above described real property from the City of Port
Angele s for the sum of $225.00, and
IVHEREPS, The City Commission has viewed the said property and is of the op~n~on that the offer is fair
value and at this time it is to the best interest of the City that it should be accepted and the sale
made.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT P~SOlVED that the said offer be accepted and that the City of Port ~ngeles sell the
said property at private sale to the said Lewie B. Filion for the sum hereinabove set forth, subject to
any ether valid liens against the same; that the City 'flttorney be instructed to prepare a quitclaim deed
conveying the said property to the purchaser, and that the City Clerk of the "ity of Pert Angeles be and
he is hereby instructed to execute said quit claim deed, and that the Mayor of the City of Port Angeles
be and he is hereby instructed to countersign said said quit claim deed.
It was rr.oved by Comrr.issiomr Beam that the foregoing resolution be approved and adopted. Seconded by
Commissioner Lind. On roll call all members voted aye. The M,ayor declared the motion carried.
RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, The City of Port Angeles is the owner of the follmring described real property, having acquired
the aarne by Treasurer's Deed, dated January 7, 1942, under and by virtue of the authority of Section 9395
of Rsmington's Revised Statutes, Chapter 145 of the Laws of 1929, page 565, to-wit:
Let Seven (7) of Block Three Hundred Forty-eight (348), Townsite of Port !l\ngeles,
Wa shington, and
WHEREAS, Frank Knoph has offered to purchase the above described rsal property from the City of Port
Angeles for the sum of $200.00, payable as follows; $20.00 as a down payment and $10.00 on or before the
10th day of Febr~ary, 1942, and $10.00 on or before the 10th day of each and every month thereafter until
paid in full, together with interest at the rate of 7% per annum on monthly balances. and paid with the
monthly installment, and
WHEREAS, <he City Commission has viewed the said property and is of the op~n~on that the offer is fair
value, and that at tr~s time it is to the best interest of the City that it should be accepted and the sale
made,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that said-offer be accepted and that the City of Port Angeles sell the
said property at private sale to the said Frank Knoph for the sum herEinabove set forth, subject to any
other valid liens against the same; that the City Attorney be instructed to prqpare a quit claim deed
conveying said property to the purchaser, and that the City -Clerk of the City of Port Angeles be and he is J
hereby instructed to execute said quit claim deed, and that the Mayor of the City of Port Angeles be and he
is hereby instructed to countersign said quit claim deed when the purchase price and all accrued interest I
thereon has been paid in full.
It was moved by Commissioner Beam that the foregoing resolution be approved and adopted. Seconded by
Commissioner Lind. On roll call all members voted aye. The Mayor declar'ed the motion carried.
