The Commission met in regular session at 10 A.M. and was called to order ~y Mayor Robinson. Roll call
showed the following officers present: Mayor Robinson, Co~~issioners Beam and Masters.
The minutes of the previous session ~ere reed and approved.
Under the head of new Business:
Gasoline contracts were submitted from the followine oil con:pal}.ies:
Union Oil Company of California, Richfield Oil Corporation, Tide Water Associated Oil Company, Shell Oil
Company, Standard Oil Company of California, The Texas Company, and Ge",eral Petroleum Corporation.
Commissioner !.'asters moved that the contracts be signed and their business be rotated as in the past.
Seconded oy Commissioner Bearr.. Cn roll call 2.11 members voted aye. The Mayor declared the motion carried.
Under the head of Readir~ and PaRsage of Ordinances the following 0rdinance passed its third reading and
was finally adopted:
AN ORDINANCE setting forth an emergency effecting the public health and safety; requlrlng expenditures
unforeseen; providing for the issuance af emergency warrants; and declaring an emergency making the
ordinance iF"~ediately effective.

It was moved by COmmissioner Deam that the foregoing ordinance be placed on its final reading and adopted.
Seconded by Commissioner Masters. On roll call all member5 voted aye. The l~ayor declared the motion
carried.
