sh~ed the following officers present: M2yor Mobinson, Commissioners Beam and Y~ster~, Attorn~ Johnston
and Clerk Hawkins.
The minutes of the previous session were read and approved.
Under the head of Applications for B.~ildingPermits the following were granted:
Bern2rd Nelson, Remodel Building, Lots 10 & 11, Block 269, Towr;site
Harry D. Mc~onald, Changing Approach to Apartment, Lot 2C, Block 86, Townsite
William C. Russell, Build Room and Porch, Lot 2, Block 12, P.S.C.C.

Under the head of Introduction of Resolutions the following resolution wa' introduced:
RESOLUTICN
WHEREAS, The City of Port "r.geles is the owner of the following described real property which was regularly
acquired for municipal purposes, which are however, no longer needed,
Lot Sixteen (16), Block Two (2), Doyle I s Subdivision of Suburban Lot ~O in
the TCMnsite of Port Angeles, Clallam County, WaShington, and
WHEREAS, Under and by the instructions of the City Commission, the City I..lerk offered the above described
property for sale by issuing a call for sealed bids for the purchase of said property, bids to ~ opened
January 26, 1944, at wl11ch tiIr.e the bids were opened and it was found that the bid of Claude W. Lynch
and Beatrice Lynch of $1:35.00 was the highest and best offer, and
WHEREAS, The City COll'lllission is of the opin1on that said offer is fair value and at thi s time should be
accepted and the sale made.
NOW, THEREFORE, B~ IT RESOL~~D, That said offer be accepted and tr~t the Ci~ of Port ~ngeles sell the said
property to Claude 7f. L~l1ch an:l !lea trice Lynch for the sum herainabove det forth; that the City Attorney be
instructed to prepare a deed conveying said property to the purchasers; that the City Clerk of the City of
Port "ngeles be, and he is herzby '-nstructed tv execute said deed, and that the Mayor of said City ee, and
he is hereby instructed to countersign said deed when the purcha~e price has beer. paid L'l full.
It was moved by Commissioner Masters that the foregoing resolution be approved and adopted. Seconded by
Com.'1lissioner Beam. On roll c all all members voted aye. The Mayor declared the motion carried.
The Commission then adjourned to n~et JRn~ary 27, 1944, at 1:50 P.M.
