~ The Commission met in regular session at 10:00 a .m. and was called to order by Mayor Epperson-. Roll call
showed the following Officers present: Mayor Epperson, .connnissioners Steele and Johnson, Attorney Wilson
: and Clerk Law.
The Minutes of the previous session were read and approved..
Under the head of applications for building permits and licenses, the following were granted:
BUILDING PERMITS:

Under the head of Unfinished Business: Bids for the purchase of a grader by the Street Department were
discussed. It was moved by Commissioner Jolmson that the bid of IVestern Tractor & E'luipment Company for
, $7,821.03 be accepted. Seconded tw Commissioner Steele and on roll call all members voted Aye. The Mayor
. deolared the motion carried.
Light Superintendent Lean presented a petition signed qy the residents of the Port Angeles Auto Court
District requesting that a street light be installed at the approach to Second and Lincoln Streets. It
was moved by Commissioner Steele that one light be moved from present location in Auto Court to approach
at Second and Lincoln; seconded by Mayor Epperson. On roll call all members voted Aye. Mayor declared
motion carried.
Under the head of New Business: .i\ndrew Severyns appeared before the Commission and requested the lease
of Charles Dolson on Ediz Hook property be transferred to the Port Angeles Boat Club, this being agreeable
wi th W. E. Johnson who had previously requested transfer of said lease. It was moved by Connnissioner
Johnson tha t the transfer be held over to next meeting for further investigation and legal advice. Sec-
oOOed qy Commissioner .Steele and on roll call all members voted Aye. The Mayor declared the motion
carried.
J. W. Lindsay, R. Sorenson, Geo. Priebe and F. L. Christman spoke on behalf of property moners regarding
opening and grading of alley between Lincoln and Chase Streets and First and Second Streets. It was
agreed by Commissioner Johnson to make a definite survey of cost and time of completion, but to open
: up for temporary use to give access to rear of present buildings.

, regarding appointees on Board of Civil Service Commission. Murray Randall should have been the only
appoint.ment for six year t.erm, to expire November 8, 1951. John Henson and Paul Near appointments were
not necessary as they are members serving on the Board.
Under the head of Introduction of Resolutions for the sale of real property qy the City, the following
six Resolutions were introduced:
