M. and was called to order by Mayor Robinson. shrnred the following officers present; Mayor Robinson, Commissioners Beam and Masters. On roll members voted Aye. The Mayor declared the motion carried. Roll call call all I The minutes of the previous session were read and approved. Under the head of appl~cation for building permits and licenses the following were grented: Lawrence Edwards, Addition to dwelling Mary Hughes, fuilding Fire Escape George A. Luttrell, fuilding wood shed am garage George S. Carter, fuild shed and chicken coop Owens bras., Move house onto lot for dwelling Owens Eros., Move house onto lot for dwelling R. E. LincoL~ St. Under the head of Introduction of ResolutionS the following ltesolutions were introduced: RESOLUTION WHEREAS, the City of Port Angeles, is the owner of the follOWing described real property, having acquired the same by Treasurer's Deed dated June 8, 1940, under and by virtue of the authority of Uection 9595 of liemington's !tevised Statutes, Chapter 145 of the Laws of 1929, Page 565, to-wit: Lot Seven (7), mock Ooe Hundred Eighty-One (181) of the Townsite of Port Angeles, Clallam County, Washington, and WHEREAS,. H. V. Charnell has offered to purchase from the City of Port Angeles the above described real property for the sum of $1ro.oo payable as follows: :$15.00 down payment, am $10.00 on or before the 16th day of February 1945, and $10.00 on or before the 16th day of each and every month thereafter until paid in full, together with interest on monthly balances at the rate of 7 per cent per annum, and WHEREAS, The City Commission has viewed the said property and is of the opinion tbat the offer is fair value and is in excess of the amount paid by the City for said lot, plus all L. I. D. assessments, in- cluding interest and other charges against the same. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That said offer be accepted and that tl:e City of Port Angeles sell the said property at private sale to the sale H. V. Charnell for the sum hereinabove set forth, subject to any other valid liens against the same; that the City Attorney be instructed to prepare a quit claim deed conveying said property to the pl1rchaser and that the City Clerk of the City of Port Angeles be am he is herebw instructed to execute said quit claim deed, and that the Mayor of the City of Port Angeles be and he is hereby instructed to countersign said quit claim deed, when the purchase price and all accrued interest thereon has been paid in full. Passed by the City Commission and signed by the Mayor this 31st day of January 1945. It was moved bw Commissioner Masters that the foregoing Resolution be approved and adopted. RESOLUTION WHEREAS, The City of Pert Angeles, is the owner of the following described real property, having acquired the same by Treasurer's Deed dated January 29, 1945, under and by virtue of the authority of Section 9595 of Remington's Revised Statutes, Chapter 145 of the Laws of 1929, page 565, to-wit: Lot Seven (7) mock Two Hundred Forty (240) of the Townsite of Port Angeles, Clallam County, WaShington, and WHEREAS, Allen J. Hilt has offered to purchase from the City of Port Angelas the above described real property for the sum of $150.00 payable as follrnrs. $15.00 down payment, and lho.oo on or before the 10th dey of March, 1945, and $10.00 On or before the lOth day of each and evexy month thereafter until paid in full, togethar with interest on monthly balances at the rate of 7 per cent per annum, and WHEREAS, the City Commission has viewed the said property and is of the opinion that the offer is fair value and is in excess of the amount paid by the City for said lot, plus all L. I. D. assessments, in- cluding interest and other charges against the same.
