The Commission w.et in regular session at 10 A .~:. and was called to order by Mayor Robinson. Roll call
showed the followine officers present: Mayor Robinson, Commis2ioners Beam and Masters.
The minutes of the previous session W8:-8 read and approved.
Under the head of Applications for Building Permi~s and Licenses the fOllo,nng were granted:
Edwin J. Reetz, Repair and remodel house, Lot 13, Block6, P.S.C.C.
T. Callahan, Peddler's License, 1 day

Under the head of New Business:
Ed and John Fitzgerald, Carl Lester and L. Schroder appeared before the Commission relative to the Meat
Inspect.io:l Ordinance.
Under the head of Introduction of Resolutions the following resolutions were introduced:
RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, The City of Port Angeles is the owner of the follmnng described real property, having ac,,-uired
the same by Treasurer's deed dated February B, 1943, under and by virtue of the authority of Section 9393
of Remington's Revised Statutes, Chapter 143 of the Laws of 1929, Page 365, to-wit:
Lot Sixteen (16), Block Two Hundred Forty-one (241) of the Tovm5ite of
Port Angeles) Clallarr. tounty, Washington, and
WHEREAS, Martin H. Adnlphsen and ],lsie Adolphsen, hU5band and wife, have offered to purchase from the City
of Port Angeles the above described real property for the sum of $150.00, payable as follows: $20.00
dovm payment, and $10.00 on or before the 22nd day of March, 1943, and $10.00 on or before the 22nd day of
each and every ~onth thereafter until paid i~ full, together wi~h interest on monthly balances at the rate
of 7% per annum, and
WHEREAS, The Cit,' Corrc11issior. ha s viewed the said property and i5 of the opinion tha t the offer i 5 fair
value and is in excess of the a~ount paid by the City for said lots, plus ell L.I.D. assessments, including
interest and othEr charges against the same. ""
Novr, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that said offer be accepted and thet the l:ity of Port Angeles sell the
said property et private sele lethe said Martin A. Adolphsen and Elsie J\dolphsen, husband and wife, for the
sum hereinabove set forth, subject to any other valid liens agoinst the 5a~e; that the City Attorney be I
instructed to prepare a quit claim deed conveying said property to the purchaser and th.t the City Clerk ofl
the City of ~ort Angeles be and he is he~eby L~structed to execute said quit claim deed, and that the Wayor
of the City of Port Angeles be and he Is hereby Instructed to countersign said quit claim deed Vlhen the
purchase price and all accrued interest thereon has been paid in full.
It was moved by Co~~issioner Masters that the foregoing resolutIon be approved and adopted. Seconded by
Commissioner Beam. On roll call all members voted aye. The M3yor declared the motion carried.
RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, "l.he City of Port Angeles is the OYlner 01 the following described real property, having acqUired
the same by Treasurer's deed dated January 27, 1943, under and by virtue of the authority of Section 9393
of Remington's Revised Statutes, Chapter 143, of the LaVIS of 1929, page 365, to-wit:
Lot Fourteen (14), Block Thirteen (13) of Puget "ound Co-operative Co] any's
SU'Jdivision of the Townsite of Port Angeles, Clallam County, Territory of
Washington, and
V~RE~S, ~ddison Leonard has offered to purchase the above de5cribed real property from the City of ~ort
Angeles for the sum of $169.08, and
WHEREAS, The City Com~ission has viewed the said property and i5 of the oplnlon that the offer is fair
value and is i~ excess of the aw.Qunt paid by the City for said property, plus all L.I.D. asseosments,
including interest and other charges against the same.
NO'rV, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the said offer be aooepted and that the City of Port Angele5 sen the

any other valid liens agaInst the same; that the City Attorney be instructed to prepare a quit claim deed

hereby instructed to execute said quic claim deed, and that the Mayor of the City of Port Angeles be and he
is hereby instructed to countersign said qu:t claim deed.
It was moved by Commissioner t~sters that the foregoi~g resolution be approved and adopted. Seconded by
Corrmis5ioner Beam. On roll call all members voted aye. 1he Mayor declared the motion carried.
