The Commission met in regular session at 10:00 a .m. and Vias called to order by Mayor Epperson. Roll call l
showed the following officers present: Mayor Epperson, Corrorissioners Johnson & Steele, Attorney Wilson
and Clerk Law.
The Minutes of the previous session were read and approved.
Under the head of applications for Building Permits and Licenses, the following were granted:

, Under the head of Unfinished Business, the hearing on the Petition in the matter of the vacation of por-
tions of "B", "C", "D" and "E" Streets and portions of First and Second Streets, and portions of the alleys
in Blocks Thirty-eight (38) and One Hundred Four (104) in the City of Port Angeles, then came before the
Commission. The City Clerk reported no objections had been made or filed. After due consideration, it
was moved by Commissioner Johnson that portions of the aforesaid streets and alleys be vacated and the City
Attorney be instructed to present an Ordinance vacating the same; seconded by Commissioner Steele. On
I roll call all members voted Aye. The V.ayor "declared the motion carried. Following is copy of Notice of
I Hearing and Affidavit of Posting in the matter.

10:00 a.m. of said date, before said City COlll1lission in the Commissioners room located in the Fire Hall at
Third and Lincoln Streets in the City of Port Angeles, at which time all parties interested in said peti-
i tion may appear before said Commission and enter their objections, if any there be, to said vacation.

II Under the head of nevI business, a request in writing by Madeline Van Tine to sell lots at First and Ennis
I Streets which she had purchased from the City VIas read. It was moved by Commissioner Steele that the City
Treasurer notify VBdeline Van Tine to make payments as per contract within thirty days or the contract
would be cancelled, but if said payments are made transfer would be allowed. Seconded by Commissioner
i Johnson and on roll call all members voted "Aye"; The Mayor declared the motion carried.
R. D. Faussett, hawing sold his interest in the City Cab Company and Black and lYhite Cab Company to Allen
Thomas and Harry Kitselrnan, requested in writing that licenses for said Cab Companies be transferred to
the new owners. There being no objections, the request was granted.
The Bond for G. W. Jeffrey by the New Amsterdam Casualty Company was approved by the Commission.

: A Committee of students from Roosevelt High School appeared before the Commission protesting that the I

with trend of times and would recommend incorporation of such in nevI ordinance. I
