Proceedings of the City Commission of the City of Port Angeles, Washington

:i The Commission met in regular session att 10:00 A. M., and was called to order by Mayor Robinson.
Roll call showed the following officers present: Mayor Robinson, Commissioners Beam & Masters,
Attorney Johnston, and Clerk Hawkins.
The minutes of the previous session were read and approved.
"Under the head of applications for building permits and licenses the following were granted:
Building Permits:
C. H. Stiles, to build bedroom and bathroom, Lot 18, Blick 547, Townsite,
E. E. Okeson, enclosing back porch, Lot 9, Blick 87, Townsite,

WHEREAS, the'City.of Port"Augeles is the owner of the following described real property, having acquired thel
same qy Treasurer's deed, dated February 13, 1945, under and by virtue of the authority of Section 9393 of I
Remington's Revised Statutes, Chapter 143 of the Laws of 1929, page 365, to-wit:
Under ~e head of Introduction of Resolutions, the following Resolution was introduced:
RESOLUTION
Lot TWo (2) in Block One Hundred EiBhty
(180), Townsite of Port Angeles, Wash.,
and
WHEREAS, Edward A. Berry has offered to purchase the above described real property fron the City of Port
Angeles for the sum of . 150.00, and
WHEREAS, The City Commission has viewed the said property and is of the opinion that the offer is fair
value and at this time it is the best interest of the City that it should be accepted and the sale made.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the said offer be accepted and that the City of Port Angeles sell the
said property at private sale to the said Edward A. Berry, for the sum hereinabove set forth, subject to
any other valid liens against the same; that the City Attorney be instructed to prepare a quit claim deed
conveying said property to the purchaser, and the City Clerk of the City of Port Angeles be and he is
hereby instructed to execute said quit claim deed, and that the Mayor of the City of Pert Angeles be and he I
is hereby instructed to countersign said quit claim deed. '
It was moved by Commissioner Masters that the foregoing Resolution be approved and adopted. Seconded by
Mayor RobiBson. On roll call all m~rs voted Aye. The Mayor declared the m~,t~~caflJ~~:

Angeles for the year 1945 came up for consideration alll;l it was moved by Mayor Robinson that the proposal of I

There was no second to the motion, therefore it failed. :
