The Commission met in regular session at 16 A.M. and was oalled to order by Mayor uavis.
ROll oall showed the following offioers present: Mayor uavis, 00mmissimners nenson and
Masters, Attorney ~onniff and ~lerk Hawkins.
The minutes of the previous session were read and approved.
Under the head of Applications for Building Permits and Lioenses the following were
granted:
il. Sorensen, Build Store, st Lot.10, Blk. 269, Townsite.
A. 'L. Huse, Build House & Garage, Lots 2 & 3, Hlk. 221, townsite
E. 'R. Johnston, Remodel house, Lot 4, Blk. 374, 'rownsite
v. 'Reynoldson, Huild Home, Lots 10 & 11, Blk. 276, '!'ownsite
Mrs. Wlater ~lves, Build ~arage, Lot 3, Blk. 27, N. R. Smith Subd.

Under the head of ~ew Business,-
O. E. Keeling having reported 1n writing that he had transferred his plumbing business
to G. J. Keeling and requested that his Master Plumber Lioense, NO. 4279, be transferred
to the said C. J. Keeling. ~here being no obJeotions the Uommission instruoted the
City Ulerk to make said transfer as requested.
Under the head of Introduction of ~esolutions the following resolution was introduoed:
RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, The ~1ty of Port Angeles is the owner of the following desoribed real property,
having acquired the same by Treasurer's deed dated January 10, 1938, under and by virtue
of the authority of ~eotion 9393 of llemington's Revised Statutes, Chapter 143 of the
Laws of 1929, Page 365, to-wit:
Lots One (1) and Two (2), Blook Three (3), Westphal's First Subdivision
to port Angeles, Washington.
VffiEREAS, C. F. aeal has offered to purchase the above described real property from the
City of Port Angeles for the sum of One Hundred E'orty-one Ii: 13/100 ($141.131 Dollars,
payable as follows; $100.00 vash and the balanoe of ~41.13 in monthly payments of
$10.00 eaoh, beginning on July 10, 1938, and ~10.00 on or before the 10th day of ~aoh
and every month thereafter until paid in full. Interest to be.oharged on deferred
payments and oolleoted with monthly payments at the rate of 7% per annum, and
WHEREAS, The amount offered for the above desoribed real property is in exoess of the
amount paid by the said City for said property, plus all L.I.D. assessments including
all interest and 0ther oharges against the same, and,
WHEREAS, the Uity Uommission has viewed the said property and is of the opinion that
the offer is fair value.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that said offer be acoepted and that the City of Port
Angeles sell the said property at private sale to the said C. F. ~eal for the sum
hereinabove set forth, subJeot to any other valid liens again:3t the same, tha t the
City Attorney be instructed to prepare a ~uit claim deed oonveying said property to the
purchaser, and that the vity ~lerk of the vity of Port Angeles be and he WS hereby
instructed to exeoute said quit olaim deed, and that the Mayor of the City of Port
Angeles be and he is hereby instructed to countersign said quit olaim deed, when the
purohase prioe and all aoorued i~terest thereon has been paid in full.
It was moved by Commissioner hens on that the above resolution be adopted. Seoonded by
Commissioner Masters. On roll oall all members voted aye. ~he Mayor deolared the
motion oarried.
