I The Commission met in regular session at 10:00 ~.~. and was called to order by Mayor Beetle. Roll call
showed the following officers present: Mayor Beetle, Commissioners Beam and Lind, .pttorney Conniff and
Clerk Hawkins.
The minutes of the ~eviou5 session were read and approved.
Under the head of Jpplications for Building Permits the following were granted:
Jack Del Guzzi, fuild House, Lot 13, Block 559, Townsite
Floyd Oakes, fuild Work Shop, Lot 14, Bloc!: 114, Townsite
Frances I. Lewis, Remodel Dwelling, Lot 15, Block 55, Tov;nsi~e
Angelo Gallacci, JlIddition to House, Lot 17, Block 24, N. R. mith Subd.
Charles Lind, Alteration to Entrance to Hause, Lot 12, Block'l09, Townsite

Under the head of Introduction of Resolutions the follcwing resolutions were introduced:
RESOIDTIOII
WclEREAS, The City of Port Angeles is the owner of the following described real property, having acquired
the same by Treasurer's deed, dated Februa~ 15, 1942, Under and qy virtue of tr2 authority of Section 9395
of Reffiington's Revised Statutes, Chapter 143 of the Laws of 1929, page 565, to-wit:
Lot Two (2), Block One Hundred Thirty-two (132) of Thomas W. Carter's SubCi,'ision
of Surburban Lots 11 and 16, Port Angeles Townsite.
WHEREAS, Theodore Barden has offered to purchase the above described real property frorr. the City of Port
Angeles for the sum of $85.40, payable as follows: $10.40 as a down payment and $10.00 on or before the
22nd day of MarCh, 1942, and ~10.00 on or ~efoTe the 22nd daJ of each and every month thereafter until paid
in full; interest to be computed on monthly balances at the rate of 7% per ann~~ and paid with the monthjy
installments) and
WHEREAS, the City "ommission has viewed the said property and is of t)1e op1n~on that the offer is fair
value and that at this time it is to the best interest of the City that it should be accepted and the sala
made.
NOW, THE~FORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the said offer be accepted and that the City of Port illngeles sell tha
said property at privata sale to the said Theodore Barden for the sum hereinabove set forth, subject to any
other valid liens against the s~me; that the City Attorney be instructed to prepare a quit claim deed con-
veying seid property to the purchaser, and that the City Clark of the City of Port Angeles be, and he is
hereby instructed to execute said quit claim deed, and that the Mayor of said City of Port Angeles be, and
he is hereby instructed to countersign said ~uit claim deed ~hen the purchaso price and all accrued interss
thereon has been pa id in full.
It was mcved b),' Cor.mussioner Bea," that the foregoing resolution be approved and adopted. Seconded by
Co~~issioner Lind. On roll call all members vat cd aye. The Mayor declared the motion carried.

WHIDlEAS, The Cit~ of Port )ngeles is the owner of the following described real property, having acquired
the same by Treasurer's deed dated February 13, 1942, under and by vi.rtue of the authority of Section 9595
of Remington's Reviaed Statutes, Chapter 145 of the Laws of 1929, page 3c5, to-wit:
Lots Six (6), Seven (7), Twelve (12) and 'L'hirteen (13), Block Three Hundred
Thirty-five (555) of the Townsite of Port Angeles, Washington, and
~1{EREAS, Wilbur W. Covert has offered to purchase the above desoribed real property from the City of Port
ftngeles for the S~. of $150.00, payable as follows: r~5.00 as a down payment and ~5.00 on or before the
15th day of March, 1942, and ~5.oo or. or before the 15th day of each and eve~ l)lonth thereafter until paid
in full; interest to be computed on monthly balances at the rate of 7% per ann~~ and paid with the monthly
installments, and

value and that at this time it is to the best interest of the City that it should be accepted and the sale
made.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ~SCLVED, that thc said offer be accepted and that the City of Port Angeles sell the
said property at private sale to the said Wilbur W. Covert for the sum hereinabove set forth, eabject to
any other valid lie~s against the semel that the City Attorney be instructed to prepare a quit claim deed
conveying said property to the purchaser, and that the City (;lerk of the City of Port Angeles be, and he
is hereby instructed to execute said qui t claim deed, and that the Ma."or of said City of Port i.ngek s be,
and he is hereby instructed to countersign said quit cla im deed wherl the purchase pri ce and all accrued
interest thereo~ has been paid in full.
It was moved by Commissioner Beac that the foregeing resoluticn be Approved and ddopted. Seconded by
Comrr~s81cner Lind. On roll call all rr.embers voted aye. 1be Mayor declared the motion carried.
The Commission examined and allowed the following claims and ordered warrants draW11 for same:
