Officers present werel E. C. I,Gus Wahlbsrg Move House; Lot 5, Blk. 161, TO\ffisite 500 .00 4,000.00 ! 800.00 , 1,000.00 2,650.00 ! under the head of unfinished business, the bids for light poles and carrier current supplies as published for opening February 18th, were extended to the next session. A lease and agreement for rental of storage garage for the Sanitation and Traffic Control Departments and Kiwanis Club was presented to the Commission. It was moved by Commissioner Steele that the lease be approved and the Mayor and Clerk be authorized to sign said agreement. Motion seconded 'by tommissioner JOMson. All members voted Aye. Motion carried. I II Pursuant to notices published, the hearing for vacation of Thirteenth Street from the east mrgin of Lincoln', 'Street to the west margin of Chase Street was opened. There being no objections made or filed, it was moved I 'by Commissioner Johnson that Thirteenth Street from Lincoln Street to Chase Street be vacated, and the City :Attorney authorized to draft an Ordinance vacating the same. Motion seconded by Comnd.ssioner Steele. 'AI:!- voted Aye. Motion carried. ,The hearing for vacation of Victoria Street from Front Street to the west margin of Peabody street, and ,chilss Street from the north margin of Front Street to the south margin of Reil:road Avenue was also opened :,by the Commission. James Morse spoke in behalf of Mrs. J. O. lAorse as opposed to the vacation of Chase l'IStreet, and G. H. Littlejohn and L. A. ~eck filed written protests to vacation of Chase and Victoria streets:. The Commissioners also expressed opposition to vacation of Chase Street. The hearing was adjourned to the ! next session. I "The petition for street lights at 10th and M. and 10th and N. streets was discussed by Light Supt. Lean and the Commission. It was moved by Commissioner Steele that owing to the faw citizens benefited an:! the excessive cost of installation, the petition should not be approved. Seconded by Commissioner Johnson. All voted Aye. Motion carried. , Under the head of new business, Mr. H. L. Sisson spoke before the Comnd.ssion regarding construction of a chicken house at 534 East 5th Street. The construction having been approved by the Health Department, ,Mr. Sisson was instructed to present specifications which the Commission and Engineer will inspect before granting permit. i The report of Police Judge Taylor for the month of January showing 100 cases tried and $1,559.00 fines collected was approved and ordered filed. liunder the head of introduction of resolutions for the sale of real property by the ICity, the following Iwere introduced I ~John W.
