Music Machine, 5 Mo. 5.00 5.00 Under the head of unfinished busine ss, the one bid submitted by the General Electric Company to furnish carrier current supplies was opened. The bid included Model 4SCS 15A2-250 Volt Controller, lots 1 to 49, each $18.25 net; 50 to 299, each $16.45 net; 300 or more, each $16.10 net. Model 4SCS 15C2-250 Volt, each '$18.85, $16.90, $16.50, all net, in C(uantities as before. F.O.B., and pre-paid. It was moved by 'Commissioner Steele that the bid be accepted. Seconded by Mayor Epperson. All voted Aye. Motion carried. iThe call for bids to furnish light poles for the Light Department was postponed to the next session. I I The hearing for vacation of Chase Street, north of Front Street,and Victoria Street from Front Street to west :margin of Peabody Street, was opened. It wae moved by Commissioner Steele that the petition for vacation of, Chase Street be denied, and that Victoria Street should not be vacated until Owens Brothers deed to the City. a right of way for extension of Hailro.. ad Avenue east. Also, that hearing for the said vacation be postponed I to April 28th. 110tion seoonded by Mayor Epperson. All voted Aye. Motion carried. Under the head of new business, Mr. Littlejohn spoke before the Commission regarding dirt dumped on Victoria Street, which is sliding and endangering his house. He also opposed putting in lnlkhead on Victoria Street. .The Attorney informed that permission to put mlkhaad in the street must be granted by the City, for which 'no application has been made. :Mr. Forsman of 1010 East Front Street informed the Commission that water was not draining from his and ,adjoining lots, causing a flooded condition. The Engineers informed that a sand box will b e put in at 'Front and Washington Streets which should drain the excess water. A requeat by Leo White of the Olympic Laurxlry for a two-hour parkihg zone on Lincoln Street between Fourth ,and Fifth Streets was referred to the Police Chief for further consideration. The Mayor read a letter informing of resignation of Dr. Shirley Benham, County and City Health Official. After expressing regrets, it was moved by Mayor Epperson that the resignation be accepted. Seconded by Commissioner Johnson. All voted Aye. Motion carriad. Notification of a meeting of representatives from the fublic Roads Administration, the Highway Dept., and 'the District Engineer with the County and City Commissioners was presented. The meeting was scheduled for ~arch 16th, at 10:00 A.M. in the Commissioners room at the firehall. Under the head of introduction and reading of Ordinances the following was introduced and placed on first ~nd second reading: ORDINANCE NO. 1194 AN ORDINIlNCE vacating Thirteenth Street from the easterly margin of Lincoln Street to the westerly margin of 'Chase Street, in the City of Port Angeles. 'It was moved by Commissioner Johnson that the foregoing Ordinance be placed on first and second reading. 'feconded by Mayor Epperson. All voted Aye. Motion carried. hnder the head of introduotion of resolutions for the sale of real proper;ty by the City, the following were introduced: Stanley E. Foster & Robt. W.
