I CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order at 2:00 P.M. by Port Angeles Mayor Joan Sargent.

Dorothy Duncan, Chair of the Board of Glallam County Commissioners, explained
the Commissioners had been meeting in joint session with the Port Angeles City
Council for the purpose of discussing matters of common interest and concern.
Identified as the top priority was the matter of economic development. This
particular meeting was called to join together all interested parties in a forum
for discussion of economic issues.
It was intended that each organization spokesperson would identify current
activities, strengths, and weaknesses. The following represents commentaries
submitted.

ACTION!
Develop proposals for more effective management and coordination of those
efforts.
After discussion of action items, Judith St. Claire of the EDC offered to
contact representatives of Kitsap County to schedule a meeting to hear how they
resolved certain similar issues as identified today.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 4:45 P.M.

center and the pickleball court would be included in the area shown
as Lot 4."
