IThe City Commission met in regular session at 10:00 A.U., and was called to order by Mayor Epperson. Roll
I,call of officers revealed the following present: Mayor Epperson, Commissioners Steele and Johnson, Attorney,
Wilson, and OClerk law.
Minutes of the previous session were read and approved.

Under the head oi' unfinished msiness, and pursuant to notices previously served, it was moved by Mayor
Epperson that Chief Wolverton and Inspector Dodge serve final notice on Joe Hoare to remove dilapidated
bui'lding on North laurel Street wi thin thirty days. Motion seconded by Commissioner Johnson. All members
voted Aye. Motion carried. The Fire Chiei' was also instructed to make survey oi' buildings at Fourth and
'r"ancis Streets regarding condemnation and removal.
Under the head of new business, an inquiry by the General Petroleum Corp. was read to the Commission,
regarding easement to lay pipe lines ullier and across alley in Block 56, Townsite, opposite Lots 11 to 14.
It was moved by Commissioner Steele that the Clerk be instructed to inform the said Corporation that
Icorrespondence and information are in the City files; to send copy of Ordinance for Company approval and
if they are willing to pay i'or Ordinance publication, the easement as approved in June of 1940 will be
,completed.

lArs. Bay ton and others appearsd before the Commission regarding speeding logging trucks at 11th and Peabody
'Streets. The Police Chief was instructed to contact truck drivers and re-rou'te.
Ed Gakin requested pennission to build a Colonial Bungalow at 15th & Cherry Streets, and was instructed to
present plans of construction to the building inspector.
A letter was read from Mrs. Gaboury oi' the Citizens Progressive Committee, requesting ini'ormation regarding
Use of sound trucks on city streets for advertising. There being no Ordinance governing, the letter was

The report of Police Judge Taylor for the month oi' February showing 75 cases tried and .1,047.00 fines
collected was approved and ordered filad.
