DD..OO The Commission met in regular session at 10 a .m. and was called to order by Mayor Beetle. Roll call showed ,the following officers present: Mayor Beetle, Commissioners Beam and Lind, Attorney COMHf and Clerk Hawkins. The minutes of the previous session were read an:! approved. Under the head of Applications for Licenses the following was granted: J. C. Breitlauch, Master Plumber 25.00 RESOLUTION I Under the head of Introduction of Resolutions the following resolutions were introduced: WHEREAS, The City of Port Angeles is the owner of the following described real property, having acquired J' the same by Treasurer's deed dated March 8, 1940, under and by virtue of the authority of Section 9595 of Remington's Revised Statutes, Chapter 145 of the Laws of 1929, to-wit: I Lot l;1.even (11), Block Three Hundred Twenty-three (525) of the Townsite of Port Angeles, Washington, and I WHEREAS, A. J. LeClair has offered to purchase the above described real property from the City of Port Angeles for the sum of $250.00, and WHEREAS, The City Connnission has viewed the said property and is of the opinion that the offer is fair value and that at this time it iis to the best interest of the City that it should be accepted and the ~, sale made. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That the said offer be accepted and that the City of Port Angeles sell the said property at private sale to the said A, J. LeClair for the sum hereinabove set forth, subject to any other valid liens against the same; that the City Attorney be instructed to prepare a quit claim deed conveying said property to the purchaser, and that the City Clerk of the City of Port Angeles be and he is hereby instructed to execute said quit claim deed, and that the !layor of the City of Port Angeles be and he is hereb,y instructed to countersign said quit claim deed. It was moved by Commissioner Beam that the foregoing resolution be approved and adopted. Seconded by Commissioner Lind. On roll call all members voted aye. The M"ll'or declared the motion carried. RESOLUTION WHEREAS, The City of Port Angeles is the owner of the following described real property, having acquired i the same b,y Treasurer's deed dated March 8, 1940, under and by virtue of thaalthority of Section 9595 of i Remington'S Revised Statutes, Chapter 145 of the Laws of 1929, page 565, to-wit: Lot Twelve (12), Block Three Hundred Twenty-three (525) of the .owneite of Port Angeles, Washington, and I WHEREAS, A. J. LeClair has offered to purchase the above described real property from the City of Port iAngeles fllr the sum of $200.00, payable as follows: $20.00 as a d own payment and $10.00 on or before the 21st day of April, 1940, and tlO.OO on or before the 21st day of each am every month thereafter until paid in full, together with interest at the rate of 7% per annum, computed on monthly balances due and paid wi th the monthly installments, and WHEREAS, 'lhe City Commission has viewed thesaid property and is of the opinion that the offer is fair value and that at t his time it is to the best interest of the City that it should be accepted and the sale made. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That said offer be accepted and tbat the City of Port Angeles sell the said property at private sale to the said A. J. LeClair for the sum hereinabove set forth, subject to any other valid liens against the same; that the City Attorney be instructed to prepare a quit claim deed conveying said property to the purchaser, and that the Cj ty Clerk of the "i ty of Port Angeles be and he is hereb,y instructed to execute said quit claim deed, and that the Mayor of the City of Port Angeles be and he is hereqy instructed to countersign said quit claim deed when the purchase price and all accrued interest ~as been paid in full. It was moved by Commissioner Beam that the foregoing resolution be approved and adopted. Seconded b,y Connnissioner Lind. On roll call ell members voted aye. The Mayor declared the motion carried.
