The City Council met in regular session at 7:30 P.M. Officers present were Mayor Willson, Council- men Maxfield, Thorne, Cornell, Wolfe, Bettger, and Schroeder, l1anager Herrman, Attorney Moffett, and Clerk I1cNeece. , iA motion was made by Councilman Schroeder, seconded by Councilman Thorne and carried to accept and place on file minutes of the previous meeting. A motion was made by Councilman Thorne, seconded by Councilman Maxfield and carried to refer the bids for water pipe to the City l1anager and Water Superintendent for study and recommendation, A motion was made by Councilman Wolfe, seconded by Councilman Cornell and carried, to accept the low bid of'$2,318.00 of Anderson Ford Company for a 3/4 ton truc~ chassis and the bid of $815.36 of Robblee Utilities Equipment Company for the body, as recommended by the Light Superintendent. A motion was made by Councilman Schroeder, seconded by Councilman Bettger and carried, to grant permission to the Water Department to call for bids for a 3/4 ton pick-up. A motion was made by Councilman Maxfield, seconded by Councilman Bettger and carried to offer for sale lots 1 and 2, Block 426, Lots 3, 4 and 5, Block 201 Townsite and the West 15' of Lot 4,Block ;48 TN, with the exception of a 15'x15' triangle on adjacent corner of truck route ano Marine rrive I'! if approved by the Council Committee(Councilmen Maxfield, Bettger. and Cornell), ano that Suburban :;Lot 47, Townsite be retained by the City. , [A motion was made by Councilman Cornell, seconded by Councilman Thorne ano carried to app~ove for payment claim vouchers in total amount of $31,676.63 and Payroll Transfers ir. amount of $36 780 00. !A motion was made by Councilman Wolfe, seconded by Councilman Maxfield and carried, to oeny the irequest of Lloyd Flatau for alteration of the Sewer Ordinance relative to charges fo~ sanitary 'isewage disposal service furnished to users outside the city limits. ~The following Ordinance was introduced and read in full. ORDINANCE N. 1557 II I J AN ORDINANCE of the City of Port Angeles rezoning certain sections of the City and amending Section 25.2 of the Code of the City of Port Angeles with reference to zoning. Musch and Joseph William Musch to Oriel Eowin Weaver ,Salad Bowl, and Van Elmer I-lill and Rosemarie Hill to Adelaide Myrrel White, Westside Grocery, II A motion was made by Councilman Maxfield, seconded by Councilman Rettger and carried, to accept ,[ the Planning Commission minutes and their recommendations to adopt the Comprehensive Plan as !,proposed and to set the Council's hearing on the Plan for April 15, 1965 i' II, A Motion was made by Councilman Bettger, seconded by Councilman Thorne and carried, to approve ,the Library Board minutes of March 9, 1965 and that Mr. Bruce be informed that the Council concurs Iwith the suggestions that the Library be closed the week of June 14th for the 'purpose of taking Il'inventory and of their obtaining a copy machine.
