RoH oall showed the followin~ officers present. Mayor Davis ,Commissioners Lutz and Masters,Attorney Plummer and Clerk Hawkins. The minutes of the previous session were read and approved. Under the heai of applications for building permits and licenses the following were ~anted,- Arnold Hakvist, remodel building, Lot 10 Block 53 Townsite John Daum, garage, Lot 15 block 378 Townsite Cline Piano Co., License for seoond hand store, ~750.00 150.00 5.00 Under the head of unfinished business,- The City Clerk was authorized to return the deposit of M.R.Alleman made with his bid to furnish material for the reconstruction of 8th.Street Bridges over Valley and Tumwater Gulches. Under the head of readin~ and passage of Ordinances the followin~ ordinance was read by title and placed on its Third reading. AN ORDINANCE setting forth faots constituting an emergency affecting the public health, safety and interest, declaring a public emergenoy to thus exi$t; providing for expenditures on accountthereof; creating a fund and fixing the amount required therefor, . and providing for the issue of warrants against the fund; deolaring an emergency for the adoption of this ordinance. It was moved by Commissioner Lutz that the foregoing ordinance be placed on its final reading and adopted. Seconded by Commissioner Masters. On roll call all members voted aye. The Mayor declared the motion carried. Under the head of introduction of Ordinances the following ordinance was read in full and placed on its First and Second readings,- AN ORDINANCE providing for care of graves at the Ocean View Cemetery,Port Angeles, Washington,by the City of Port Angeles ,under annual contract; WHEREAS , the City of Port Angeles has conducted Ocean View Cemetery,sold lots and plots of ground for use as graves and it is desirable that the said city should make suitable arran~ements for care of graves thereon; Under the head of unfinished business,- Official bonds were approved by the City Attorney and the Commission as follows,- Frank L.Plummer, City Attorney Robert Banderob, Chief of Police N.M.Hawkins, City Clerk Thos.Geisness Police Judge Stewart Horace white, Supt.of Utilities Elsie !.I.Stahl Deputy City Treasurer Fre~ P.Henson Deputy City Treasurer J .R.McDonaHl Ci ty Garba~e Colleator .
