The Vommission met in Regular Session at 10 a.m. and was called to order by Mayor
Davis. Roll call shm'lod the follp;'ling officers present. !.layor Davin, Commissioners
Lutz and Masters, Attorney Plummer and Clerk Hawkins.
. The minutes of the previous session i7ere read and approved.
'Under the Head of Building Permits and Licenses, the following were granted,-
H. A. Ferris, Dwelling, Lot 20, Block 293, Townsite,
II. dilliams, Remodel Store Bldg., Lot 4, Block 31, N. R. Smith's Addition,
C. VI. Bennett, Store Building, Lot 9, Block 49, Townsite,
,/ L. Crook, Remodel Residence, I,ot 15, Block 3, Lutz ftddition,
L. E, Stark, Dance at I.O.O.F. Hall, Ha~ch I?, 1934.

It was moved by Commissioner I"lasters that J, H.. Turner be granted the use of Lot 3.,
Bloc~ 323, Townsite, for gardening purposes for the year 1934. Provided, however, that
in case of a sale of the lot by the city at any time, or that the lot should bo needed
for ci ty purposes, then this G,'ant shall be void ann the lot relinQuished to the ci ty.
Motion seconded by Mayor Davis. On roll call all member'S voted aye. The l.layor de-
clared the motion carried.

Under the Head of New Business, a Committee oomposed of ~'red Strange, H. B. l\'lolchoi "
and J. F. Marchesi, representing the '.'Ialter Aokley Post No.29; American Legion,
petitioned the Commission for permission to handle the annual Fourth of July oelebration
for the City, and requested exclusive oonoession rights.
. After listening to the petitioners the matter was oontinued for further considera-
tion for one week.
The Commission examined and allowed the following claims and ol'dere.d warrants
drawn for same,-
