ipresent were: Yayor Feeley, Commissioners Robinson and Taylor, Attorney Trumbull, and Clerk Law.

Under tha head of unfinished business, bids submitted at the previous session to furnish material for the
water department were again considered. Recommendations by Supt. Dodgs were as follows: ,Item one, Western
Utility Supply Co. Item 2, Hugh C. Purcell. Item 4, Paoifio Water Works Supply. Items 5 & 6, E. N,
Hallgrsn. It was moved by Commissioner Taylor that ths bids be awarded as reoommended. Seconded by Mayor
Feeley. All voted Aye. Motion carried.
Bids to furnish for the light department, wire, transformers, and hangers, were opened as follows.

Wsrren Morse at First and Laurel Streets and Cecil Bailsy at 217 No. Lincoln St., filed protests opposing I
use of meter standards for,advertising signs. It was regularly moved and seconded that the I!llter Advertisini
Corporation bs notified regarding protests filed. '
Earl Davidson reported that approximately $600.00 waa atill dus the water department for stumpage sold to
Jones and Newall. It was moved by Commissionsr Taylor that ths Fort Tie snd Lumber Co., purcheser of the
logs, 'be advised that i.t is the desire of the Commission they straighten out theaccouut at the earliest I
eonvenience. Motion seconded by If.ayor Feeley. All voted aye. Motion carried.

Under the head of new business, Sadie Anderson, having sold hsr interest in the Marine Drive Lunch to James ,
Pilgreen, requested in writing that her city licenses be transferred to the new owner. It was moved by Mayor
'Feeley that the request be granted. Seconded by Gommissioner Robinson. All voted Aye. Motion carried. i
Correspondence from Clarence 8. Shain, Professional Engineer, was read be fore the Commission. Mr. Shain
informed regsrding sewage disposal and treatment, citing cost of same, and ways and means most advantageous
to the City. The Commission ordered the letter filed.

Commissioner Taylor informed that slterations to the heating plant in ths Police Station are necesssry to
p.,rniit efficient operation. Also that ohanges will be made in the near future. Mr. Taylor slso informed
that Lou Kiszek would like to meet with the Commission at sny time regsrding Occupational tax due. Comm.
Robinson will arrange for the said meeting.

Light 5upt. McLean reported thet power lines were damaged by tree felled near First and Penn Streets.
WI' illiam Stovall being responsible, it was moved by Commissioner Robinson that the ssid Mr. Stovsll be billed
ifor cost of damage inflicted. Seconded by Commissioner Taylor. All voted Aye. Motion carried.
