The Commission ~et in regulur session at 10 a.~. and ~as called to order by Mayor
Davis. Roll call showed the followine officers present. L:ayor Davie, Commissioners
Lutz and Masters, Attorney Plummer and Clerk Hawkins.
The minutes of the previous session were read and approved.
Under the Head of Building permits and licenses, the following were granted,-
Fred R. Anderson, Garage and doodshed, Lot 19, Block 370, Townsite,
L. E~ Stark, Garage , Lot 18, Block 308, Townsite,
L. E. Stark, Dance at I.O.O.F.Hall, March 24, 1934.

Under ~he Head of New Business the following Resolution ~as introduced,-
RESOLUTIon TO SELL PROPE~TY ACQUIRED BY FORECLOSURE
OF ASSESSHEl1TS.
~7HEREAS The Oity has acquired title to Lot l4,Block 200, Townsite of Port Angeles
by foreclosure of Local Improvement assessments, and the property is so situated that
portions of the same may be injured by high water, sliding embankments and failure of
bulkheads
VMEREAS ~. ll. BERG has offered the ~ity the sum of Fifty (~50.00) Dollars for a
deed to said lot, agreeing to aaaept the same subjeat to any fUture damage by reason
of slides, high water and similar oaaurrances, the deed to be in form provided by law
for sale of property so acquired,

VMEREAS The City Oommission has viewed theproperty and the sum offerad ie adeQ.uate
value for same,
BE IT R~SOLVED That the offer of the said B. M. Berg be acaepted and the City
Treasurer be and she is hereby authorized to execute to the said B. M. Berg a deed to
the property on the payment to her of the sum of Fifty (050.00) Dollars.
BE IT RESOLVED That said deed be in t~ for~ prescribed by statute for such deed
but with an additional clause releasing the city fro~ all liability for possible
damage by high water, floods, slides and similar damage.
It was moved by Commissioner L~sters that the foregoing Resolution be approved
and adopted. Seconded by Hayor Davis. On roll aall all members voted aye. The Mayor
declared the mJtion carried.
Under the Head of Unfinished Business the matter of the petition of the Ameriaan
Legion asking permission to handle the annual 4th of July Celebratio,n, came up. T he
said petition having been presented ~arch 3, 1934, See Vol. 19 of ~ommissioner~!

It nas moved by Commissioner Masters that the Americ2.n Legion be grant e<l,.t O' handle
the annual 4th of July Celebration, commencing July 3rd ahd ending July 4th, also that
exclusive concession rie;hts be handled by the Legion. Hotion seconded by Mayor Davis.
On roll call all members voted aye. The liayor declared the motion carried.
The Commission examined and allowed the following claims and ordered warrants
