Roll ca 11 showed the follo"ling of~icers present: Mayor Davis, Commissi oners , Henson and Masters, Attorney Conniff and ~lerk Hawkins. The minutes of the previous session were .,read and approved. Under the head of Applications for Building Permits and Licenses the following were granted: C. E. Matzke, Garage & Service Station, Lot 1 & E} Lot 2, Blk. 25, ~. R. Smith's Subd. Mrs. Martin \Iick, Build ~ddi tion, Lot 13, Blk. 69, Townsite G. Pavan, Build Addition, S} Lot 9 & la, Blk. 160, To~nsite C. L. Finch, Build Addition, Lot 37, Blk. 3, Doyle's uubd. Mrs. Maude uhaver, Addition to House, Lot 9, Blk. 326, Townsite 2000.00 50.00 150.00 50.00 200.00 Police Judge, Pro Tem. Ralph Smythe, reported 12 cases tried and J88.00 collected in fines for the month of Maroh, 1937. Report ordered filed. Under the head of Introduction of Resolutions the following resolution was introduced: RESOLUTION TffiEREAS the City of Port Angeles is the owner of the following described real property, haVing acquired the same by Treasurer's deed dated April 5, 1937, under and by virtue of the authority of Section 9393 of A~mington's Revised ~tatutes, Chapter 143 of the Laws of 1929, page 365, to-wit: Lot 16 of the Subdivision of Blook 3 of the uubdivision of ~uburban Lot No. 17, City of Port Angeles, as per plat recorded in Volume 4 of Plats at page 39, records of vlallam vounty, Washington, situated in Clallam County, State of liashington. .AND WHEREAS, Benjamin E. rioods has offered topurohase ths above described real property from the City of Port Ange+es for the sum of ~124.2l, payable as follows: ~24.2l cash and the balanoe of 4100.00 in monthly payments of ~5.00 with interest on deferred payments at the rate Of 7% per annum; and, YlHEREAS, the amount offered for the above described real property is in exoess of the amount paid by the said City for said property, plus all L.I.D. assessments including all interest and other charges against the same; and, .ffiEREAS, the CiuY ~ommission has viewed the said property and is of the opinion that the offer is fair value, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RSSOLVED that said offer be accepted and that the City of Port Angeles sell the said property at private sale to the said Eenjamin E. Woods. for the sum hereinabove set forth, subject to any other valid liens against the same; that the City "ttorney be instructed to prepare a quit claim deed conveying said property to the purchaser, and that the City Clerk of the City of Port Angeles be, and he is hereby instructed to execute said quit olaim deed, and that the Mayor of said City be, and he is rercby instructed to countersign said quit claim deed. It was moved by Commissioner Masters that the foregoing resolution be adopted. Seconded by Comnissioner Henson. On rol:!. call a 11 members voted aye. The Mayor declared the motion carried.
