The Commission met in rogular session at 10 A.If,., and was called to orderlby Mayor Robinson. Roll call showed the following officers present: /layor Robinson, Commissioners Beam & /lasters, Attorney Johnston, and Clerk Hawkirs. The minutes of the previous session were read and approved. Under the head 0 f applications Wm. Randklev, Pau), R. Cook, Dan F. Janzen H. J. Grant for building pennits the following were granted: Remodel House, Lt. 15, Blk, 451, Tcnvnsite Construct Dwellir1{l, Lt. 18, Blk, 387, Tovmsite Build Garage, Lt. 19, Blk. 93, Tovmsite Remodel House, Lt. 9, Blk. 180, Townsite $ 200.00 5000.00 100.00 300.00 Under the head of introduction of resolutions, the following resolutions were introduced: RESOLUTION WHEREAS, The City of Port Angeles is the owner of the following described real property, having ac,,"uired same by Treasurer I s deed dated April 25, 1945, under and by virtue of the authorith of Section 9393 of Remington IS Revised Statutes, Chapter 143 of the Laws of 1929, page 365, to-wit: the :1 I: I' r ! Lot Eleven (11), Block Eight (8), of the Puget Sound Co-operative Colony's Subdivision of the Townsite of Port Angeles, W. T., and, ,[ WHEREAS, Arnold Gross has offered to purchase the above described real property from the City of Port IAngeles, for the sum of $160.00, and, WHEREAS, The City Commission has viewed the said property, and is of the op~nl.on that the offer is fair value and is in excess of the amount paid by the City of Port Angeles for said property, plus all L.LD. assessments including interest and other charges against the same. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RF..50LVED that the said offer be accepted and that the City of Port Angeles sell the said property at private sale to the said Arnold Gross, for the sum hereinabove set forth, subject to any other valid liens against the same; that the City Attorney be instructed to prepare a quit claim deed conveying said property to the purchaser, and tlmt the City Clerk of the City of Port Angeles be and he is hereby instructed to execute said quit claim deed, and that the Mayor of bile :city of Port Angeles be and he iS,hereby instructed to countersign said quit claim deed. RESOLUTION TO SELL PROPEllTY ACQUIRED BY FORECLOSURE lVHEREAs, The City of Port Angeles is the OViller of the following described property in the City of Port Angeles, to-w:i. t: West Forty (40) Feet of Lot TriO (2), mock Twenty-two (22), of Norman R. Smith's Subdivision of the City of Port Engeles, Clallem County, Wash., i i which sijid property has been acquired by the City on foreclosure :1 under, Chapter 205 of the Session Laws of 1927, and WHEREAS, Guy C. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the said offer be accepted and that tbe City of Port Angeles sell said property at private sale to the said Lily Thompson for the sum hereinabove set fort/1, subject to other valid liens against the same; that the City Attorney be instructed to prepare a quit claim deed ing said property to the purchaser, IU1d that the Cit'j Clerk of the City of ,Port Angeles be and he is hereby instructed to execute said quit claim deed, and that the Mayor of the City of Port Angeles be and is hereby instructed to countersign said ~uit claim deed. It was moved by Commissioner Masters the foregoing resolutions be approved and adopted. Seconded b y Commissioner Beam. Roll call showed all members votiny Aye. 7he Mayor declared the motion carried. Under the head of new business: Mrs. L. D. Lowrj, heving leased the Shamrock Tavern to Lloyd Hettman, reCJ.uested in writing that her Restaurant License No 53i15, Music Machine License No. 5544, and Amusement Machine License No. 18-10, be transferred to the said Lloyd Hettman. There being no objections the Commission instructed the City Clerk to make said transfers as requested.
